Scout Adventures Avis 

We started our three days at Youlbury with a very warm welcome by our two hosts, and the friendly nature of the staff continued throughout our stay.
The accommodation was modern, warm and clean and having the use of the common room and the well-stocked kitchen was a real boon.
The food was excellent and plentiful and the activities lots of fun and full of challenges for the children, even in the rain!

The instructors were brilliant as usual. They were enthusiastic & friendly with the young children - entertaining them while maintaining all safety aspects. The Brownies loved all the chosen activities, the highlight as always was the 3G swing! Everyone was accommodating & helpful

Another fantastic stay. Special shout out to Carlisle who was a real hit with the cubs and scouts

We turned up and were assigned a pitch that we did not book. After a bit of convincing, we managed to get back to the pitch we booked.

A very well organised event. A good selection of training opportunities (a mix of hands on & classroom based)

Was a great opportunity to learn more, understand the changes & ask lots of questions in a relaxed friendly setting

I learned so much more - highly recommend

Lovely staff, beautiful location, would have liked more goes on activities for time allocation, as young people get bored if they only go on a zip wire once in a 90 min session. Tented village needs to ensure tent zips in working order and that the kitchen facility has a sink.

The staff at the reception were great, the activity leaders were friendly and helpful.

We had a great time with our King's Trust Team. Staff very welcoming and friendly and the site was great to explore and well maintained equipment and resources. Lodge was basic but met all our needs. A good choice of activities on site for our residential trip. With a great food menu and plenty of choice.

Onsite experience was amazing. Staff and activities were better than ever. Catering team provided great meals with large portions and were so helpful and friendly.

The admin and communication before the event was very poor - e-mails not replied to and those that were took several weeks to be responded too. It was very challenging to have any conversations before our arrival….if I hadn’t booked before and known how great it was on site I probably wouldn’t have bothered to come and would have found somewhere else!

The staff were amazingly helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The experience for our Year 4's was wonderful - they were safe and secure on site and able to flourish and build resilience and confidence through the balanced range of outdoor activities.

Outstanding visit. We booked the tented village. It was being renovated and we had a change in site at the last minute. But we were well looked after.
In the evening we invited all the youlbury staff for a bbq. It ended up being the best night of camp ever. The staff sang songs from their countries it turned out to be a mini Jamboree. Outstanding experience.

Fantastic facilitators who had lots of energy, a great sense of fun and were brilliant with children!

On Egg-venture Fun day all family had fun, we loved the location - Gilwell park is great, and fantastic activities- tried all of them, especially incredible climbing experience and zip-wire!
All volunteers on the site were so friendly and helpful, we had great experience and enjoyed a lot!
The organisation was on the highest level - we spent 5 hours, and haven't noticed!

Such lovely people and lots of fun things to do!

We had a fantastic stay in the Broadstone Warren Lodge. We were blessed with fantastic weather and so were able to spend the majority of our time outside, enjoying the facilities and activities on offer. Our only criticism would be that the main hall of the lodge is very bare, so when 20+ Scouts are inside for any length of time, it gets very loud. The room could really benefit from something on the walls to absorb some of the sound.

Wonderful stay at Scout Adventures Youlbury.
This was our third visit to Youlbury with cubs and beavers, for a one night residential.
We stayed in Bears Den, and the accommodation was great - modern, clean, spacious. We did four activities over the the weekend, all of which the young people really enjoyed.
The only downside was that communication, before the visit, at times was difficult, but not really a problem,

We will definitely be back!

Amazing activities and instructors but communication via email and phone was pretty poor until the last minute.
