We were made very welcome and Karina the new member of staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. She didn't push us very polite and answered all our concerns ..would definitely recommend that store

I VISITED WITH MY PARENTS WHO ARE PENSIONERS, WE WERE MADE TO FEEL WELCOME AND WAS OFFERED SOME WATER WHICH WAS A NICE TOUCH. DAMIEN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL

Great experience

This is my fourth sofa from what was SCS now Poltronesofa, given to children only reason had to buy again. From start to finish a very positive experience, the guys who sold us the sofa were brilliant and very patient, the guys who delivered were very professional and friendly, the sofa as with all the others is beautiful and very comfortable and was a very reasonable price, hopefully our last sofa but l would highly recommend.

When visiting store to choose our sofa the Blackburn store they were very helpful in helping us pick our material and sofa. Very quick to order and delivery date was 2 weeks early. Guys delivering and constructing the sofa were efficient and careful. Great experience all round.

No Customer Care!

Me and my girlfriend visited the Blackburn SCS store on Saturday 17th January and enquired about the luxbridge 3 seater sofa (which had a built-in chaise on one side) which we was told could be on either end of the sofa. Whilst in the shop we very specifically asked which way to describe the chaise to get it on the correct side. We were advised to describe it as you are looking at it from the front. So we very specifically asked for the chaise to be on the left hand side of the sofa. The sales rep John said this would be fine.

He said to ignore the photo on the quote he was going to send to us as this is just an example as it is not in the correct colour on the photo either etc.

We verbally confirmed the order the next day, again reiterating again that it needed to be a left hand chaise. Not a right hand chaise as shown on the photo on the quote.

My partner and I have now waited until the 5th May for the sofa to arrive and it is incorrect, the colour is what we requested but the chaise is on the right hand side not the left hand side!! We are beyond distressed about this. We have spent a lot of money, waited a long time (Over 12 weeks) disposed of our old sofa suite, and now left with a suite that is completely inpractical. It has made our living room totally inaccessible.
If the installers had any sense, they should have questioned this when they brought it into the property.

We have a baby due in a couple of months, we can't wait months for a replacement but the sofa we are currently left with basically means our living room is inaccessible.

We are not happy at all and hope we can work together for a swift and reasonable resolution. Although the deliveryman told me, if I was unhappy with anything I should contact store within 72 hours. I have spoke to the store at great length several times on the phone in this 72 hour window I was given and I have got nowhere. SCS are refusing to take back the sofa as it is on the initial quote even though we were told to ignore what it said on the quote!!! I am beyond distressed about this. I later found out that the SCS employee John that has obviously made the mistake on my order no longer works for SCS. So he didn't care about the customer whatsoever because he was leaving the business! I told SCS this but all they said is that this quote was cross referenced with another SCS member of staff to check for any mistakes.
I don't know what difference this would make because this other SCS member of staff wasn't present when we discussed what we wanted with John in the first place!

I am beyond distressed about this, and I'm not for backing down because I should NOT have to make do with this furniture and completely rearrange my living room because one of your SCS employees who didn't care about the customer because he was leaving the business made life easy for himself because he clearly couldn't be bothered to correct the quote that we so clearly told him about numerous times!! I am absolutely flabbergasted with your company. I urge you to find your phonecall recordings that will prove my conversation with John stating I told him about the chaise being displayed wrong on the quote and that we wanted a left hand facing chaise not a right hand facing chaise.

To resolve the issue, we'd like the sofa with the chaise long on the left hand side, but we're really gonna struggle to wait another 3 months as my partner and I are expecting a baby and with the chaise on the wrong side the living room is completely inaccessible.

We won't even be able to wheel a pram into the front room as it now, nevermind have a small cot for the baby in the living room.

I urge your company to help us and not leave us like this when this is not our doing. We've done everything correctly so we shouldn't be penalised like this. This is a nightmare. I can't sleep knowing the stress that this is putting on my girlfriend who's pregnant with our baby.

I am very sorry to see that your furniture was not as expected when this has arrived in your home.
We completely understand how disappointing this must have been for you and apologise for any upset or inconvenience caused to yourself and your partner.

Looking over the notes I can see that this has been fully reviewed by the store management. They have confirmed that your furniture has been made to the specifications requested at the point of sale.
Again I am sorry that the outcome is not what you may have hoped for.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. Guy who dealt with us was great. Really knew his stuff. No pressure just told us the basics and let us browse and make up our own minds.
Highly recommend.
