Hottub order was placed in November 2025, after waiting a number of months I was looking forward to my delivery in late February 2026 to be contacted a few days before delivery that my tub had arrived but had faulty LED lighting. I should have cancelled my order at this time but trusted the company when they contacted and stated they could still install the item and repair in situ 'within 3 weeks'. We are now at 7 weeks with no repair arranged. No contact from the company other than that prompted by my chaser emails. Initially told the replacement module had been sent by sea (who sends a small lightweight module by sea and promises 3 week repair!) When told this was not good enough suggesting air freight was required i have yet to receive any tracking details (I have received temu and shein orders quicker!). I would advise you look elsewhere for a trustworthy local company as Scunthorpe Hottubs/spa tubs UK fall well short of expectations now likely to end up at small claims court for suitable resolution. You only know how good a company are when things go wrong, this is not a good company based on my experience.

Update 21st April

Well a negative review at least got the companies attention resulting in improved customer services.

The parts have finally been delivered with an engineer attending today. Unfortunately only 4 LED lights were provided to him when 8 were required and as such the tub is still faulty some 9 weeks after delivery.

On the positive side at least the company contacted me afterwards not having to chase this time!

Yet again I was told further parts would be ordered for a revisit at a later date.

Suggesting we were at a stage when compensation would be needed for the delay, chasing, unable to make plans on the days of install and engineer visits it was implied I had received a great price for this faulty product. As such I await collection and a full refund to buy a replacement from another hopefully better company but hold my breath this will be without further issue.

Update 26th May

Despite the hottub being collected on 6th May (Requiring my help to move as they didn't send enough people) I am still missing the deposit paid for the order in November. This has now been escalated with the bank as I dont trust a word the company say.

I note the other most recent review here is also appalling. Rest assured there are other better companies out there. Replacement ordered elsewhere was cheaper, more powerful, delivered within 2 weeks, much more professional delivery guys putting sheeting down to protect my paving and with great communication both via email and WhatsApp.

During a difficult time after the breakdown of a marriage I reached out to Scunthorpe hot tubs while looking to sell my tub. They went way above and beyond to help me and have given me the ability to give my children a wonderful Christmas. Their contact, collection and updates made a difficult time so much easier. I will be forever grateful to this company and the first rate staff I dealt with. Customer service was 100% fantastic. Would recommend to anyone for their contact and care throughout. We went to the showroom at Scunthorpe with a specific hot tub in mind.
We were shown the hot tub in question by Peter who was not pushy, very patiently answered all our questions and gave us some very useful tips.
The hot tub was booked in for November 12th and Jamie kept us informed on times and worked really hard unassisted to get the job done and fully briefed us on how the hot tub works and also the care and maintenance of it.
Very impressed all round and would definitely recommend.

Had my tub fitted last year.. brilliant service. This was backed up today by the two guys who carried out the service. Attention to detail was fantastic. Spotted a damaged jet which I would never have seen and new one ordered .. no hesitation

VERY POOR AFTER SALES CARE
Purchased a tub from this company with no problems promptly fitted and very helpful engineers

We had a leak and called them in 12th May payed £150
Up front call-out charge which included any repair labour

after 1st appointment ( 28th May )no Engineer turned up at all, we contacted the shop who arranged another appointment between 10- 11am no Engineer turned up again after personally contacting the Engineer he was unaware of the appointment he did turn up on the agreed date (31st May ) but arrived at 22:10.

He investigated and diagnosed the issue with the tub and said he was ordering parts and would return to fit them.

We then had a second engineer attend on 19th june with no parts and no instructions or information from the initial visit

After numerous phone calls to the shop we are still waiting for the issue to be resolved

The shop has not attempted to make contact us with any updates we have to chase them

After waiting for over 2 months we have decided to withdraw our custom with Scunthorpe hot tubs as it been a long hard stressful process trying to resolve the matter

On our final contact with our complaint we was informed we will not be refunded our initial £150 payment as it was the call out charge , but we was lead initially to believe the payment was to cover call out and labour and no labour was forthcoming

We are bitterly disappointed with the service given and would hope other customers will not experience the same poor level of service

Just had our gorgeous Venice hot tub delivered and installed. Absolutely over the moon with the hot tub, all started with speaking with SEAN in the sales team who was very helpful and informative. DAN and LIAM who installed it were so lovely and professional - gave us all the tips and info we needed to keep our tub healthy. Really lovely lads. Thank you Scunthorpe hot tubs x

From start to finish was a fantastic service.
June 2025 we were looking for a hot tub, after a difficult few months. Had looked around and taken advice from a few different suppliers and had read lots of reviews. We had decided on a round hot tub for 5 people. Only my self and partner at home now. But we like to entertain family and friends. We decided to visit Scunthorpe hot tubs to have a look around. Before we committed our selves to an expensive mistake.
Their show room is massive! Whilst there we tried on a few of there hot tubs and it very quickly became apparent a round hot tub wasn’t for us. Too small with not much foot room. Peter one of the guys from Scunthorpe hot tubs helped us out. He was very knowledgable about all the hot tubs they had on display. We weren’t sold extras that we didn’t need, no need for a heat exchanger or a hot tub that had no foot space in the center. We weren’t pressed to take out a warranty or extra cover for our hot tub.

It took 2weeks to arrive after we placed our order which gave us time to prepare the ground where the tub was to sit.
It arrived as expected. Paul Kyte and “amigo” placed the tub exactly where we wanted it with care. It was quickly installed and everything on set up and how to maintain our tub was explained. Also all sent in a text message for future reference.
A few days later we were contacted again to make sure all was ok with tub.
Of coarse it was!!!!!
All in all our experience with Scunthorpe hot tubs has been 1st class, we would definitely recommend this company.

Showroom very good lots to choose from, encouraged to get in to try, no hard sell. Like other reviews the after sales service lets this company down with delivery time and replying to concerns during the time of sale and actual delivery which I found stressful. However when my tub was delivered by Qasim, Abdullah and Kyt I found them very good in the placing and installation. Qasim explained the chemicals and how to manage the tub and then added me to a WhatsApp group which re-enforced what he'd told me which I found very useful as a first time hot tub owner. They would have got a five star review for their service

Paul and Kyte were both amazing. With a difficult area to get into they had come up with a solution and executed it with military precision. A***

The only draw back was I presumed that it would come with electrical connections. I had installed a 32a socket ready to plug in , then had to buy the plug and cable to get it running. It is running now and I’m loving it.

well, where do i start... lets just make it clear the engineers (paul and colleague) went above and beyond, so 5* to them. but the customer service is appalling - and a review i wrote on their preferred site trustindex has been removed as the company say i am not a customer, despite having bought the hottub from them!!! having to provide bank statement so the review they publish on their website can be re-instated. rude, and bullying tactics will not work. the company has no support south of scunthorpe - so if you live south, don't even think about it. if i could do a seperate review for the engineers it would be 5*, but i can't, and i do not have social media, so this is the best i can do. let's see if the company get trustpilot to remove this post - seems to be their tactic for anything less than 5*

Had a hot tub delivered on 27/03 in the Scottish Borders. Firstly the tub is great, exactly as described, we are extremely happy with it. Secondly, the delivery men 3x men were outstanding, the hot tub needed to get placed in a tricky location and the men went above and beyond to help. They made the whole experience amazing and would highly highly recommend this company. Thanks again Scunthorpe tubs and a huge thank you to your delivery men, you have some good ones there.

Bought one a hot tub from Scunthorpe hot tubs on Sunday and had it delivered on Saturday, 6 days later!! Amazing customer service from Dek in the showroom and perfect set up from Paul. A few issues with the crane not working at first but they managed to get it working and lifting into our back garden seamlessly. Crane driver was amazing and delivery took place early then expected!

Unfortunately hot tub hasn't heated up just yet, so will be enjoying this all day Sunday!! Can’t wait!!

Bought our hot tub in November 2024 and we knew it would be 12wks customer service was a bit slow in letting us know it would be longer than 12wks, received it in 10th March set up went without a hitch the delivery men explained what we needed to do it does not come with a manual but the company was more than happy to email one, due to my disabilities went through which one would suit me gave us a hand rail and let us swap steps we up graded to a 7kw heat source pump for a bit extra money more than happy with that money well spent in my opinion. Declan was really helpful sorting a few things out for us would defiantly recommend this company.

Bought and paid for a hot tub in store,told it was in stock for delivery within 2 weeks,got a phone call 2 days later to say not in stock would be a 6 weeks till delivery,we waited for that day to be told it would the next day,then the delivery driver rang to say he was running late it would be teatime till we got it,which wasn't a problem,then another call to set it back till 8pm,then another call to say it would be 10 pm which wasn't enough time for a full install according to him,he would deliver it at 9am prompt the next day (his words),no contact from driver till 1015am to say he was late picking the hottub up from the warehouse(which was supposed to be on his van the previous day),so god knows what he was delivering to us the previous day,I rang the depot and spoke to the boss to get a refund as I was fed up at this point,he said wait foe the delivery,but after all the agro of waiting this time I was worried if something had gone wrong with the hottub I'd waiting 2 months for them to sort it,after a long wait on the phone he agreed to do a refund,which took 3 weeks to get back,the company seems to say whet they want to get sales then you're forgotten,we went to another company and for sorted straight away,be careful if you go to Scunthorpe hottubs ,,,I wouldn't

I sold my hot tub to Scunthrope Hot Tub and the whole experience was easy and professional. Replies to emails and whatapps were quick and informative. Collection of the hot tub was smooth as well, with regular updates from the collection people. Paid same day as collection. I would highly recommend this company
