We are the importers in UNITED KINGDOM for the Franchi seed brand, the oldest family run seed company in the world but we are also passionate about the provenance and regionality of everything we sell. We were found to be the most ethical major packet seed brand by Ethical Consumer Magazine and we are also Vegetarian Society and Vegan approved and part of Slow Food UK. Franchi is a family run company and we value our customers very much which is probably why we're still in business after 7 generations in the same family since 1783! We are producers of rare and heirloom vegetable seeds with provenance.

Great quality seeds and good service
The seeds I ordered arrived quickly and safely. The quantity per packet is good value and I know from last year that Franchi seeds are good quality. This is why I reordered the butter beans , which are delicious, and added chick peas and tomato seed to my order

I’ve been buying seeds and garlic from Seeds Of Italy for many years and I can vouch that their products are always of the best quality and that they are truly fantastic people to do business with.
On the one occasion I did have a minor issue (some elephant garlic cloves had lost their skins) I called them on the phone (yes you can speak directly to the owners) and they replaced them without hesitation.

Brilliant seeds - flavour, choice, germination, quantity, longevity!
I love shopping Seeds of Italy/Franchi! So much choice, even after Brexit. I have used SOI/F for about 15 years now and so many factors -- the quality, choice/flavour of eaters for salads and meaty to make winter sauces, amazing % germination rate, germination several years past the "expiry" date, and HUGE quantities of seeds in a packet! I share with friends and neighbours and still have amazing amounts left as everything comes up!
