Franchi are usually good but I felt let…
Franchi are usually good but I felt let down this time my onion sets I ordered came late and were smelly and wet and a good few were soft with rot when I opened the packaging. I emailed Franchi to advise them the condition of the purchase Their response was they blamed Berxit and the weather and nothing to do with their quality control. I feel fobbed off.

We are sorry for your experience, Franchi quality control tent to be always on top, unfortunately with such a natural and fresh product as the onion and garlic set we can't always have the same quality.
The weather is definitely the most important variant and can be crucial even during the couple of days the product is out for delivery.
We usually offer replacement to the customer that are not happy with the products if this didn't happen, please contact us again and we will provide.

La Dolce Vita!
This is such a wonderful store - a real treasure trove of all things Italian and a gardener's paradise. Paolo could not have been more helpful and welcoming and he put together the most amazing hamper of treats for my husband's birthday. Health revitalised!
Of course, price is important but quality is far more important and the arrival of the new season's garlic is one more important event.
After a hot 2022 and a wet 2023, when our garlic-growing skills were severely tested, it was a great delight to receive (14/10/23) and unpack the Aglio Bianco Bulbi di Trapianto.
Removing the outer peel from 3 heads to reveal the skins of 39 cloves went a long way to restore enthusiasm for the 2024 season when we hope for better weather, improved yields, better and easier harvests and lovely meals to come. Now to plant those cloves.
Thank you Franchi Seeds for this excellent product and for your contribution to our mental health. Well done.

Fabulous Italian Online shop
I've been buying seeds and other items from this company for quite some time, having first seen seed packets in a local garden centre. The plants I grew initially were really healthy and successful which spurred me on to explore further.
During lockdown, the website was a Godsend for flour and yeast which was almost impossible to buy locally.
Since then, I've bought more seeds, beautiful soaps, dried mushrooms, nduja, herbs and fantastic Amalfi gin.
The goods are always well packed and arrive in good time.
