Seed Talks Avis

This was a really engaging evening with a presenter who really knew his stuff but was alos open to others opinions. thoroughly recommend it

Fascinating talk by a really great and engaging presenter.

Fascinating talk by Dr Gillian Kenny - scholarly, funny, well-paced. Good audience questions too

Engaging and inspiring talk that was relevant to all academic levels.

Dr Gillian Kenny was captivating from start to finish. Having visited Ireland for the first time earlier this year, I’ve been fascinated with their folklore and views of death ever since. Such food for thought, and so much we can learn from their approach to life, love and death. Brilliant!

What an awesome night, Dr Gillian Kenny was funny and knowledgeable and it made me want to book another talk right away.

Absolutely brilliant evening. My first Seed Talk and definitely not my last! Dr Rachel Newsome made Jung fascinating, accessible and genuinely thought-provoking. I came away with my brain buzzing, a ridiculous number of new rabbit holes to explore and a completely different way of thinking about a few things in my own life. If you're curious about people, ideas and expanding your mind a little, I couldn't recommend Seed Talks more

First time going to a Seed Talk and will definitely go again. Really engaging talk about the folklore of The Banshee, fun and informative, and very well organised. Thank you!

Great night with a really interesting and entertaining speaker- Dr Gill Kenny. No complaints here!

What an amazing, informative, interesting and enlightening talk. Plus also very funny! Thanks for coming to Lincoln 😊

Prof. Dianne Purkiss is an infinitely interesting person to listen to, she is very well educated in tarot and many wonderful tarot adjacent things. Every webinar of hers leaves me wanting more, with a long reading list and curiosity for more.

Thought provoking and packed with knowledge!

My first experience and I cannot wait to book more events..
Very eye opening and knowledge packed talk.
Its great that you can attend both an online variant or a face to face group setting.
Looking forward to see whats on offer in 2027

I had a wonderful time at the Seed Talk about the History of Folk Horror at the Guildhall in Gloucester. Dr Gavurin gave an interesting and informative talk.

Amazing talk so interesting and inspiring!

The talk was entertaining and absolutely fascinating, it exceeded my expectations. I learnt so much valuable information in one evening.

A huge thank you to Dr David Hamilton. An amazing speaker and very insightful talk! Me and my friend really enjoyed this. Thank you to seed talks for a very well organised event!

Dr. Kaya is absolutely incredible. Engaging, funny and knowledgeable. I have been incredibly inspired to do more reading, writing and watching of queer vampires!

This was the second Seed Talk I attended at The Guildhall in Salisbury. Clearly a knowledgeable speaker with a skill for presenting the complexity of the topic in a relatable way. The use of projected images was also good.

A great, well-researched, well-structured and well-delivered talk. I’ll definitely look into more talks and events from Seed.
