Seeed Studio Avis 

I want to raise the alarm to anyone who, like me, had no idea what Seeed Studio was. Summary---if you are in USA, and can buy ANYWHERE else, do so! I was trying to get an Nvidia Jetson Orin devkit a couple months ago when they were very hard to get. Suddenly the option to buy from Seed Studio appeared, so I unsuspectingly purchased. OMG. I got an immediate shipment notice, so far so good. Then I started receiving strange emails from Fedex: "The package has arrived at the local customs and it is waiting for you to clear customs, please contact your local customs as soon as possible. Please provide the customs clearance materials to paperwork >: importer information sheet. Pls find it in the attachment. So your package won’t get return due to the package being held for too long in your local warehouse. Thank you for your cooperation!" Sounds like Phishing! Then really unprofessional emails began from Seeed threatening that I would lose both the product and my money if I didn't fill out paperwork and provide my SSN/EIN. Really! After days, it resolved. I received my kit. A week later a bill arrived from Fedex for over $200 in tariffs (thanks Trump). What a nightmare, never again!

That really was the best customer experience i ever had,also it is the third time in my life i write a review for customer support ,A+++++++++++

I had an issue with miner not booting up and had to change an SD card. Support was very swift and helpful. I got all the instructions and it was very simple change. Thanks to entire support team for making it a swift fix.

I do not usually write reviews, but I feel I have to now. I had an issue with my miner so I contacted support on discord. I was offered premium level support. Mario worked with me very closely and relentlessly to resolve the issue.

He has a solid background and his first guess was the actual problem. He walked me through how to fix it and my miner is up again in couple hours.

Kudos for Mario.

Again, Mario is the best. For me to be able to get through doing techie stuff, you have to be patient and know how to break things down to my level of understanding, and Mario has come through again.. Give him a raise

Nach 8 Monaten Betrieb ging bei meinem "SenseCap M1 Helium Miner" die interne SD-Karte kaputt. Dies ist eigentlich unschön bei so einem hochwertigen und teuren Gerät... Zumal bei den jetzigen Firmwareversionen die Hotspots nur noch "Light Hotspots" sind und nicht mehr die komplette Blockchain mitschreiben müssen (reduzierte Schreiblast auf SD-Karte).

Aber dank schnellem und unkompliziertem Support via Webformular und eMail, plus die gute Dokumentation auf deren Webseite konnte ich das Gerät selber wieder reparieren! Der Miner arbeitet wieder wie gewohnt.

Genau genommen benötigte ich nur die gerätespezifische Konfigurationsdatei für mein Gerät. Im Internet habe ich Tipps zur Vorgehensweise gelesen,
die neue SD-Karte habe ich selber besorgt,
und ich bin versiert im Umgang mit dem darin eingebauten Raspberry Pi und SD-Karten,
und kann mich auf Englisch mitteilen.
Folglich konnte ich dem Support nach selbständiger Diagnose genaue Symptome schildern und konkret nach dieser notwendigen Datei fragen...
Also eigentlich musste der Support gar nicht so viel machen. Jedoch sehr zuvorkommend war der zuständige Herr. :-)

Generell kann ich diesen HNT Miner weiterempfehlen,
da er (bis anhin) zuverlässig funktioniert und Updates der Helium-Entwickler zeitnah vollautomatisch den Weg auf den Miner finden.

Aldeles dårlig behandling. Pakken skulle nu være blevet destrueret pga manglende afhentning!
Købte sidste år en Google USB Accelerator, som var i restordre, men betalte med det samme.
Pakken er så forsøgt leveret de seneste måneder, men trods forsøg på at gøre opmærksom på at vi er flyttet, så er pakken afsendt til gammel adresse. Og ender derved i et sort hul hos PostNord, som ikke kan få pakken frem til den nye adresse.
Jeg har ALDRIG før brugt så meget tid på en pakke, for at ende med at få at vide fra Seeed Studio at den er blevet "destrueret". Og de vil Ikke fremsende en ny.

The worst support post selling I have ever received. They sent the products from USA, I am in Spain. The product didn't match with the description and they told me "due to the shipping was 20 days ago, we cannot do nothing for you" I live in Spain!! obviously the shipping arrived after 20 days!!!

I ordered a PCB. It was shipped after a week. Eight weeks later, still haven't received anything. Do I get a message that there are extra costs because I am in the EU. Okay, I want to pay that. No further response to my email.
An addition to the above: Product not received. After an e-mail to the general e-mail address I received a voucher. Product ordered again and now it looks like it will be delivered.

Issue with a product 12 months after purchasing. The after care was absolutely brilliant! Prompt and really helpful! Highly recommend!!!!!
