Good communication good windows

I’ve just had full house of windows fitted and can’t express how happy I was with the service
The installation team were fantastic and so polite
Would highly recommend

Placed an order from March 2024 they canelled the installation at least three times. I have been awaiting my refund (£500) since 28th of August but nothing so far. I have been calling since and evrytime I am told the refund is processing. Or someone called Jude will say he will investigate and call me back but never does.
Are these people scammers? Why is my refund taking such a long time?

Following a cold call when vouchers were offered, Marlon from Select Home came to see me, 6 Nov 2024. He offered a competitive price but things hit the buffers when I decided to look at Trustpilot. We looked at it together. I asked him to comment on the adverse comments and the staff mentioned. He claimed that he had never seen these before, did know the staff referred to and that his company had no connections with Grays or Covent Garden. [It clearly does] When asked about the managers / ceo he became defensive and declined to answer. He asked for a cheque representing 50% of the price. He would not accept a payment by credit card to give me section 75 protection. I told him I could not proceed until I had made further enquiries. He had no brochure to give to me outlining the company, its products or if it genuinely offered installsure protection.

That evening I investigated online, discovering one of the main managers /owners to be a Lloyd Levi Jennings, who ran at least 4 other companies with varying success allegedly from the same address, but also from Grays and Covent Garden.

The following morning I phoned the company on the phone number at the bottom of my contract which was issued in the name of A L Evergreen ltd. 'The number you have dialed has not been recognised.' I then tried the 0333 number. Nobody there, but I later received a call from Jude and Jonathan on a mobile. From this I leaned that as a previous review had said, the company is NOT to be found at the address they state, so any customers seeking a refund for work not done would have a wasted journey. Any questions about directors were not to be answered. I asked for some assurances in light of the horrendous comments elsewhere. He declined to give any and said they did not want me as a customer.

I feel the overall experience of this company needs to be investigate by their local trading standards whom I will inform.

Do not use this company. They took order in November 2023 for a porch. Since then they have given me 6 different start dates over 2024, and I still haven't had my porch fitted. Have asked for my money back, £6,725 to no avail.
Jude the sales rep, has been my contact and will not put me through to accounts, and my original contact will not speak with me. Have driven over to website address and they have not been there for 2 years! Invoice address is a chartered accountants, and they have taken them off their books. LOOK OUT BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

This is a complete scam. Paid a deposit in January and constantly given different dates for work to start, they then either don’t turn up or cancel the appointment. Requested a refund but over a month and not heard anything. Reported to the bank and Action Fraud. Do not use under any circumstance.

We cancelled an order by email followed it up with a phone call - was told a manager would call back - never did - sent more emails - no response - still waiting for a refund of the deposit 7 weeks later - not impressed. Paid by transfer as we were told there would be an 18% charge for using a credit card!

Very professional staff, on time and efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend for perfect result!

Alex was very respectful, reassuring and attentive to us while we was having our windows fitted. I’m extremely fussy but nothing was too much trouble for Alex and his team. I’m very impressed.
