Price gouging, unethical behaviour
You have to pay $49 for a quote, considered call out fee. No price guide available, the only option is to pay for a quote. The electrician quoted me $649.00 to install (swap over) 1 LED bar light and 2 hard wired smoke detectors that I had already bought. Less than an hours work. Also had to endure a hard sell for power board upgrade and rechargeable backup battery smoke detectors. Price gouging, absolutely unprofessional and unethical behaviour. I have found a local sparky who has quoted me less than a third of the Service Today quote. Invoice for call out quote 00375386 Job number 408335
Service today have contacted me and offered to refund $49 only if I agree to remove my review.
Job completed by Aaron from Azzelec for $150 which was invoiced with 7 days to pay card or bank transfer. Professional, took him 35 minutes, great guy. Do not use Service Today for non urgent electrical work, they are charging 5 times the rate charged by ethical sparkies.

Excellent Service - Once Again!!
Asked the team at Service Today to come out and replace a couple of lights that were no longer working. Technician arrived on time at 7.00am taking all the necessary precautions during COVID-19. Inspected the jobs that needed to be done, and offered a quote to complete this as well as replace all our fire alarms that were now out of date. Also offered surge protection on our meter board, which we believed needed to be done.
All jobs were performed promptly, and all mess was cleaned up by the technician - something that you don't always see with Tradies...
I'd have not hesitation in recommending Service Today for any electrical or plumbing matters that you need doing.

Our hot water unit decided to die…
Our hot water unit decided to die overnight/this morning. We came across Service Today on Google and gave them a call. Alastair came out at 9.30/10.00 and a new unit was fully installed by 1.00. Alastair was very knowledgeable and professional in his work. We highly recommend using Service Today

Electrician review
This is the 2nd time I use this service. Very convenient as they come when you want them and do a great job. Although a bit more expensive, you pay for the convenience of getting things done quickly and professionally. I will definitely keep using Service Today.
