SGGT Ltd Avis

Was fitted for driver by Ryan at Glasgow fitting centre. He identified early, based on his experience and access to data, that a more flexible and lighter driver shaft (Vanquish) matched up with correct Titleist surefit driver setting was suitable for me.
Have seen increased yardage and tighter dispersion on the course.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend.

Great fitting experience at SGGT. Jordan at Chesterfield was excellent and explained every aspect in detail to get me to the optimal ball flight and distance.

Highly recommend!

Having purchased a set of irons from Sggt South Chesterfield. I was instructed to get used to them and the distances once happy return and look at wedges required below pitching wedge distance that i had calculated which was very sensible. Laurence Pawley was really helpfull and very constructive on which particular wedges i required also calculating swing differences to get certain yardages. It was a really enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to recommend SGGT.

Attended a golf Iron fitting with SGGT Edinburgh. I can’t praise them enough. A friendly relaxed atmosphere punctuated with a patient and understanding golf fitter. (Thank you, Scott).

The difference between my current Irons and the ones recommended is night and day. Very happy.

A big thank you to SGGT team.

Apart from my fitting with Arran, who was superb, I work overseas and needed the new clubs shipped. Everything was done quickly with no issues and the clubs are perfect.

Thank you for all your support throughout this year. Just knowing that you are at Swanston has been incredibly reassuring.
Harry has had another fantastic season, with the highlight definitely being holding onto the U18 Junior Club Championship.

He recently won the Stephen Gallacher Foundation U15 Scratch, adding to his previous U12 and U10 titles. Other highlights this season include finishing 7th in the Junior Tour Scotland U14, 3rd in the US Kids European Open, and winning the Morrison Medal. Not forgetting the Mens Dispatch Trophy.

With your continued support, Harry has played over 60 matches and is looking forward to furthering his game in 2027.

I had been waiting patiently for my first driver fitting and after reading rave reviews, SGGT did not disappoint. Ryan at the Glasgow branch took me from a 230 yard slice to a 250 carry straight down the middle drive within the time of my fitting alone. I’m now 100% confident over the ball with my driver and it’s all thanks to this man at SGGT Glasgow . The technology available and the knowledge from Ryan gave me a superb experience. I can’t wait to return to get fitted for my irons.

Recently had a driver fitting at SGGT Glasgow with Ryan Sterling. The whole fitting process was excellent with Ryan putting me at ease and spending time with a variety of shafts and heads. The process was not rushed and resulted in a significant improvement in distance and dispersion. The after sales process was first class the regular updates with regard to purchase which was available 1 week after fitting. I fully recommend SGGT Glasgow and the excellent service from Ryan and SGGT Golf. I will certainly use them again for further purchases.

SGGT (England’s) is THE best fitting experience I have had in 25 years of golf. The staff are excellent, the tech is superb and the choice of products in terms of shafts and heads is way beyond anywhere I’ve ever been before. Yes the fitting process comes at a price but it’s worth every penny to know every club in the bag is tuned to your swing. I’ve now had my whole bag fitted over the last couple of years with SGGT and I know a bad shot is down to me not the clubs or the fitting. Highly recommended for all ranges of golfers. If you want to play your best, use the best fit clubs…

My initial meeting with Laurence put me at ease. We had a conversation, regarding my game, current clubs and what I wanted and expected from a fitting.
This wasn’t my first golf club fitting. The SGGT was something else.
Laurence explained step by step from start to finish how SGGT work. The team were Informative, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.
Would I go back 100%

As soon as I walked in Anne made me feel welcome.
James was recommended to me by my son who had had fittings previously and was pleased with the service.
James's knowledge and expertise at selecting the right club heads and shafts from the numerous items available was impressive.
I only went for a new driver and ended up with a new set of clubs!
Thanks to all of you
Val

I have had club fittings before however this was different class. Aaron was very knowledgeable and great to deal with. I felt like a tour pro, I am far from it as a 4 handicap however hopefully my new driver can lower this. I tried many different heads and different shafts. Great experience and highly recommended a fitting.

Absolutely great fitting session with Aaron at SGGT Glasgow (June 2026)! I went in with specific ideas, but Aaron’s incredible expertise and data-driven approach completely transformed my ball striking. He patiently guided me through an intense 200+ ball iron, hybrid and driver fitting session, dialing in perfect yardage gaps and optimising my landing angles. I walked out with a fully custom-specced dream bag. Aaron was phenomenal from start to finish!

The service I received was quick. I was kept up to date with my order and called as soon as my product arrived in store.

Highly recommend Scott Fraser for an iron fitting at SGGT in Edinburgh. The fitting itself is comprehensive and the aftercare is excellent too. SGGT provide a fitting experience at a level above what I’ve seen at other fitting centres.

I recently had a driver fitting at SGGT Edinburgh with James.

From the moment I arrived, I felt really welcomed. At the start of the fitting, we had a good conversation about my goals for the session and what my ‘miss’ is on the course.

James demonstrated his extensive knowledge as we experimented with various combinations of shafts and heads. The outcome was significantly tighter dispersion and an additional 12 yards of carry.

Afterward, he gave me a tour of the fitting studio and explained the building process to me.

Overall, it was a great experience, and I plan to return when I next upgrade my bag.

Went down for a fitting to Glasgow store for new irons with Aaron. Right from hitting some warm up shots and then moving onto actual fitting Aaron made the whole process such an enjoyable experience. We tried several different makes and models and ended up on Titleist T150, and then fine tuned with the shafts/grips. So happy with how the whole fitting went and the professionalism from Aaron was followed up by the support team with great communication on the status of the order, which was received 10 days after the fitting. Would definitely recommend using SGGT - Glasgow.

Really personal and relaxed assessment. Lot of confidence in Scott's judgement and generally exceptional customer service (Including post visit experience and ongoing communications as my new clubs are custom made) Thank you and would not could not recommend the team there more highly.

Hi David Anderson
I would like to start bye saying both Aaron and Ryan were absolutely fantastic having not done any fittings before they put me at ease right away. I had fittings for irons wedges driver and wood throughout the November and into start of December
I recently started playing again after close to 30yrs so decided to upgrade to more modern clubs I started with the iron fitting and after testing multiple clubs and shafts settled on Titliest irons then it was onto the driver and 5 wood again after multiple drivers and shafts we settled on a Callaway Elyte and a Srixzon zi5 wood with custom shaft .A couple of weeks later I got word that Callaway could not provide the head and what a blessing that turned out to be as I waited for the new Taylormade and quantum drivers to come out in February . So we arranged an appointment to go try these out after trying each driver with several shafts etc they just were not working so Aaron produced a head that he said was just in that day and I was first to hit this the new Ping g440k well all I can say game changer every drive I hit went straight down the middle absolutely great spin stats etc I also got fitted for wedges
But in finishing this review I would like to say anyone having second thoughts about going to these guys dont they are brilliant
I waited until now to review so as I had multiple rounds with my new clubs and as I say they are game changers for me I was regularly anywhere from 84 to 81 on my home course and had an ambition to get under 80 bye end of season but already the quality of the fitting done bye Aaron and Ryan has seen me surpass that with a 78 on my 3rd round and I am continuing to play much better . That Ping g440k has made an amazing difference to my game
Thank you Aaron and Ryan sggt Glasgow

I was fitted for a driver at SGGT in Chesterfield with Jordan. The whole 1.5 hours was an education and at the end - despite wanting to buy a more expensive club, the one that worked the best was recommended by Jordan and he saved me £80. The experience was first class and all the balls were pro v1 clean and crisp. I would recommend anyone wanting to buy a driver to get it fitted and SGGT are perfect.
