I made an urgent order of a hospital…
I made an urgent order of a hospital bed, phoned for advice and to make sure I got the correct mattress for the bed. The lady I spoke to was very knowledgeable and was a great help.
The bed was delivered on time and set up in a short time. The bed was excellent and did all what was expected. The only problem was the wrong mattress and been delivered. The driver was mortified and arrange to have the correct mattress delivered by the following morning which did happen but it delayed the OT's visit to check that other equipment was compatible.
In general I am very pleased with the purchase and grateful that the correct mattress was delivered the following morning.

Mobility bed
Purchasing and delivery of the bed was very efficient. We opted to have the bed set up for us so we know what to do should we need to move it. The delivery man was very funny and engaging, he was professional in his delivery of everything we needed to know and patient regarding our questions.
The bed is superb and has made the assistance for carers and ourselves so much easier, my mum in law says the bed is comfortable and she like the fact she can use the remote to sit herself up when required.

I used this company for the first time to purchase some equipment for a care business. I found the company helpful and efficient. They delivered on time and when they found they had brought an incorrect sling it was replaced within a couple of days.

I cant believe you took delivery payment off my return even though my mum passed away what a joke will not be buying off you again !!!

First and foremost, we want to offer our sincerest apologies for the loss of your mother.
As a company, we understand the sensitivities surrounding the loss of a loved one, for this reason, when we were notified by the pallet company that you had suffered such a loss, we didn't feel it was right to phone you that day and start discussing an item that was purchased for your mum. When an item is returned to us, we await the contact of our customers with regards to either a refund, a credit note or a reroute of the item.
When you called, you spoke to a member of customer service and the first thing that was said was the offer of condolences for the loss you have experienced. When a refund was requested, it was advised that the money would be refunded to you and be in the account within 3-5 business days. You accepted this, thanked us and said goodbye and the goodbye was reciprocated by the staff member.
We are sorry if you feel that this was not handled with the upmost sensitivity, although we feel we could not have handled this any differently, it will be discussed with the staff member.

As advised above, we wait for the contact of the customer before we process the refund due to us being able to offer a credit note, refund or reroute. The refund was processed yesterday, minus the delivery charge, please check your account within the next 3-5 days, it is normally much quicker but we advise this just incase it does take a little longer.
Further Edit:
Just to confirm as per our conversation today, the refund for the £65 has been put through for you. You should receive this into your account soon.

We purchased the Marsden M-600 Hoist Weighing Attachment from Shelden Healthcare and it really wasn't satisfactory at all. The charger didn't work from Day 1, we believed it was a problem with the actual attachment and eventually managed to send the item back once the company provided an invoice number which we had not received previously but they insisted upon before they would accept the item for repair or renewal, but we ended up having to pay the hefty postage fee ourselves. Shelden Healthcare then informed us that the charger was broken and we could purchase one from them or they would send the item back still not working. We chose to purchase a new charger from elsewhere as we had such a poor experience with this company and did not want to give them any more custom. Buyers beware.

I can see this item was purchased in December 2021. If at the point of delivery you had advised to us the issue with the charging lead we would have been more than happy to assist with the replacement of this.
We were notified of the issue with the weighing attachment in April this year, 4 months from the point of delivery. As per our terms and conditions, there is a 14 day period of which you can request a refund on the item or notify us of a fault that we can rectify this for you. The item arrived to us with charge on there indicating that the item has been charged with signs of usage and also with a charging lead that has a snapped/bent pin. We have checked the lead and it does charge but for health and safety it is advisable to replace.
We notified the manager of this as soon as we were aware of this via email and offered the options we had, purchasing a new lead from us or purchasing one yourself and this was acknowledged with the request for us to return this to you.
With regards to the shipping, it is stated within our terms and conditions that it is your responsibility to cover this until it is confirmed as a manufacturers fault, which this is not.

goods were dropped at back door luckily it was needed in a downstairs room. it was diificult to park. although two of my carers put bed together it wasquite complex and had i known i would have asked if you provided this service even if i had to pay. The product is good the servce non existent whic is a shame

I can see that at the point of the purchase, when you ordered online, you selected the van delivery to the curbside, there was 2 other options of which you could have selected them to be installed and again when we called to notify of the delivery, we advised this is a drop off only and confirmed this was suitable for you before we confirmed the delivery.
With this delivery service, the items are usually just left at the curb outside of the property. The driver delivered the items to you and there was a conversation made about where he should leave the items, you then signed the delivery notes to say you were happy with the delivery. I can confirm that our driver did go above and beyond to enable the easiest delivery for you with the options you selected, there was no mention of installation being needed otherwise our driver would have referred you to the office.

Apollo Saturn rotating bed
Order process, telephone support and delivery were good. Buying online, I discovered the bed wasn't really appropriate for a short person (5ft 4" with a broken spine). The real point of the bed was to protect the spine, and this couldn't be done without adding a supportive cushion the same size as the mattress to the top half of the bed, and removing the small "ankle" cushion during entry. Shelden put me in touch with an expert to discuss this.
