Chetan delivered an outstanding service…

Chetan delivered an outstanding service managing our sale and purchase over a six month period, remaining proactive, organised and on top of every detail, which made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well controlled. He consistently kept us updated and well informed at every stage, giving us confidence throughout, and his professionalism and dedication were clear from start to finish, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him nor Signature Law.

Title: Chaotic, Unprofessional and Deeply Stressful — Avoid This Firm

ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH. IF THERE WAS A MINUS 100* SIGNATURE LAW WOULD ACHIEVE THIS.

AVOID AVOID AVOID PLEASE!

My experience with Signature Law was nothing short of chaotic. I trusted them with my sale and purchase, and it turned into one of the most stressful experiences my family has ever been put through.
Despite knowing I was changing mortgage lenders, Signature Law failed to tell me about a major early repayment charge until late on the day of completion. This is basic, fundamental information any competent firm should raise well in advance. By the time they finally mentioned it, contracts were already exchanged — and I was trapped with no options left.
On completion day, the firm became completely uncontactable.
Phones rang out. Emails were ignored.
Meanwhile, my house was being emptied and I had no idea what was happening with my own transaction.
At one point, I was even told to “try getting the redemption statement myself”. I then received wildly incorrect completion figures, and ended up having to drive to their office in person just to obtain their bank details because nobody would answer the phone.
The result? Hours of delays, confusion, and my family — including children, elderly relatives and pets — left standing outside in cold, rainy weather while we waited for information the firm should have had under control. Removal vans were delayed, schedules collapsed, and we were eventually forced to move in the dark.
The lack of continuity was shocking. My file was passed between four different people, including a paralegal who wasn’t yet qualified. It was painfully obvious that no one properly reviewed or checked the file during these handovers. Key tasks were missed, basic information was wrong, and mistakes kept piling up.
Even after completion, the problems continued. Essential documents were delayed, other solicitors had to chase Signature Law repeatedly, and even the estate agent wasn’t paid on time. The entire process felt disorganised and unprofessional from start to finish.
When I raised concerns with the Director, Sunny Patel and his partner, I was told I was “not paying for a premium service”.
Astonishing. Since when does “not premium” mean:
• inaccurate information
• unanswered calls
• no supervision
• incomplete paperwork
• and a complete lack of urgency?
I submitted a formal complaint. It wasn’t properly investigated or resolved.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding Signature Law.
The stress, disorganisation, lack of communication and serious oversights were completely unacceptable.

Avoid Signature Law

Avoid Signature Law – Unprofessional and Incompetent

If you are looking for a law firm that values your time, your case, or basic human decency, look elsewhere. Signature Law is the definition of a "budget" firm—and in this case, you truly get what you pay for.

My experience with Pooja was nothing short of a nightmare. Dealing with her felt less like working with a professional solicitor and more like shouting into a void. Here are the main issues:

Terrible Communication: Expect to be ignored for weeks. When you finally do get a response, it’s vague, dismissive, and rarely addresses the actual questions asked.

Constant Mistakes: The level of incompetence is staggering. I spent more time correcting her basic administrative errors and legal oversights than she spent actually progressing my file.

Zero People Skills: Pooja lacks even a shred of empathy or professional courtesy. She is abrasive, impatient, and clearly views clients as an inconvenience rather than paying customers.

It is painfully obvious that Signature Law prioritizes high volume over high quality. They operate like a factory, cutting every possible corner at the client's expense. If you want a firm that puts the customer first and understands the weight of the legal matters they handle, stay far away from this place.

Would give zero

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this firm. Despite their overall rating, my experience has been marred by an apparent lack of communication and professionalism. It is consistently challenging to establish contact with the team, and when interactions do occur, it appears that guidance is needed at every step, often requiring clients or other involved parties to provide reminders on process and progress.

Following the sale of my property, I believed my involvement with the firm would conclude; however, outstanding paperwork remains, resulting in ongoing service charges and unexpected costs for proposed works. In light of this, I strongly advise potential clients to exercise caution and review other feedback before engaging with this firm. Their service has fallen significantly short of expectations.

The experience was awful

The experience was awful. Endless delays, lack of communication, messy hand overs. Honestly couldn't be much worse. Watch out they might try and use Conveyancing Solicitor to pretend they have good ratings

Instructed for house move

Used Signature Law for selling and purchasing a home. I found them through a conveyancing comparison company and were overall the cheapest. They didn't have many reviews online so not much to go on to be honest, but they were local to me so decided to instruct them.

My case handler was Chetan. He did respond to emails quite promptly and answer telephone calls or call back when needed.

From the solicitor point of view the transaction went quite smoothly, enquiries were completed promptly including any follow up questions which I had.

On completion day, Chetan was readily available for contact and was very prompt in sending the money for our onward purchase. We didnt even have to wait to collect the keys, they were ready within minutes of us leaving our first home.

Can't complaint about the service I received and overall a positive experience.

You get what you pay for..

Well what can I say. I went through Home Legal Direct to find a suitable conveyancer for my flat purchase and was passed to Signature Law to handle the case (as a first time buyer). To say the process could have been better is an understatement.

As other reviewers have said, they are slow, you will have to chase and chase to get an answer out of them (if you are lucky). The turnover rate of paralegals and solicitors is ridiculous. I had 4 paralegals 2 solicitors (in 7 months!) handle my case by the time it was concluded. The only positive is that the para I eventually worked with was patient and seemed to be trying to do a good job, which gave me confidence that they might just get it over the line. Their fee structure is very cheap and probably reflects the level of service that you'll get (i.e. the amount of time they are willing to work on your case). Expect 5 minutes a week - seriously. It might be worth asking (and paying for) more time but frankly if I did it again I would go with another firm.

It seems this firm doesn't really do conveyancing, devoting much more resources to other areas of law, such as family law and it's obvious once you've gone through the process.

My advice - avoid unless you are on a strict budget and/or willing to wait as long as it takes

I can't comment on their other areas of law. As mentioned, they are probably much better at those, but conveyancing isn't a strong USP for them

One star is far too generous

One star is far too generous – every single one of them is terrible. The director, the lawyers, the entire team – rude, slow, and completely disorganised. Yes, they may be cheaper, but it comes at a significant cost to your time, sanity, and overall experience.

We were constantly passed from one lawyer to another, with weeks of radio silence in between. The final lawyer who handled our house purchase caused me immense stress, almost breaking me completely.

I filed a formal complaint, only to have the director respond with, “I will only investigate if I want to.”

And to Signature Law – don’t bother sending review requests asking if I would recommend you, only for the ‘no’ button to lead nowhere. Laughable. Sital, you’re a joke of a director and should seriously reconsider this venture before you completely ruin your credibility.

Unprofessional and appalling service

My experience so far is appalling to say the least. They take weeks to respond don't answer half of your queries, don't action your requests and are full of empty promises. We are selling our house and are now on the verge of losing our buyer, which means we will lose our onward purchase, and will cost us thousands in lost fees. And all because signature law provide such a poor service. They always have excuses, but ultimately that is covering up an unprofessional attitude and lack of care for their work. Please do not make the same mistake we made, use a better firm. It will save you money, time and hassle to use a more professional firm even if they charge 3 times as much.
