Very rude shop assistant
I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this shop on May 30th around 14:43. I came in alone to look at gold rings and picked out three I was interested in. When I asked simple questions about the stones and karats, the staff member abruptly left me mid-conversation to help two men instead, saying “thank you” as if I was dismissed.
When I mentioned the rings were too big, he snapped, “I didn’t choose them, you did.” I calmly told him there was no need for the attitude, but he became increasingly rude and said I was “not a customer” and “wasting his time.” He started speaking aggressively in Turkish. I asked him to speak in English, and he told me I was giving him a headache and ordered me to leave the shop.
I had every intention of buying a ring, but after being treated with such hostility, I walked out. I was left standing there, alone and shocked, after being spoken to with complete disrespect simply for asking questions. No one should feel humiliated or unsafe while shopping — especially over something as personal and valuable as jewelry.
