The Specialist IV team at the Cottage…

The Specialist IV team at the Cottage Hospital Clevedon are superb. I've been getting my PICC line dressing done with them since last summer - two separate lines due to two separate treatments. The nurses are kind, helpful and friendly. Gisene, Carla, Helen and Pesci are an efficient team. I recently had my line dressing changed at Southmead Hospital and it didn't feel right after a day so left a message on a Saturday for an examination on Monday. I was absolutely amazed to be phoned on Sunday offering it to be looked at. I was there in ten minutes and it was all sorted! Brilliant!

Staff training required especially

Staff training required especially by young members of staff on how to approach patients and carers who have been around far longer than they have been out of school wear. I understand they are trying to do a job that probably doesn’t pay well and probably not very well organised and they end up feeling frankly is not worth the hassle. However, they need to learn that people do not come in one size fits all, especially old ones that have seen more of life than they can ever imagine and could write a book of all the amazing people they have encountered in life. Often quoted. “Do not mess with old people”, they have more experience of people and life than these newly qualified youngsters could ever imagine. Staff training should be a very important part of dealing with all walks of life without showing attitude and a very cold shoulder.

I personally would like to thank Jodi & Skye from the Sirona specialist falls service based at Warmley, who visited my mother today. They were so very helpful & provided excellent advice and assistance. May I add that they were instrumental in helping my father when he was alive through the care they provided him. Thank you :)

Total waste of time still in pain

Total waste of time . Went to see Garth Jones Musculoskeletal 22nd September at Clevedon regarding severe shoulder pain. He confirmed he was sending me for referral to Neurosurgery Team in Bristol . On the 17th October letter came from Hospital informing me I was on the waiting list . However called the hospital in November and was informed its been canceled requiring more information . I have called Sirona Care several times and been told its on his to be list to do . Therefore please tel me why is not able to send the information hospital require been waiting 3 week now discussing service and . Overal I am in sever pain waiting

Totally shocking

Totally shocking . I had an operation 3 years ago on the NHS but done under bupa in Bristol on my right shoulder due to impingement and arthritic spors . Worked perfectly have no issues any more. Last year my left shoulder started showing the same symptoms had a MRI and revealed the same issues. GP referred me to MSK under SIRONA we agreed to try a steroid injection just like the right shoulder didn't work so contacted them waited 3 weeks for a call back to get told if the injection didn't work nore would an operation and I needed physio !!! . Wonder if they are even medically trained ? as noticed they called clinicians . So now still in pain with no options to go private and invoice SIRONA ...

Trying to contact a District Nurse.0n…

Trying to contact a District Nurse.0n the phone until you feel like giving up life ! Probably what they want. They tell you what position you are in the queue ie:- 10 to 12 usually, and that’s it ! You are kept guessing if you are making any progress up the queue. Could be forty of fifty minutes. Apologies ,and suggested I try Tel Num 0300 1256789. This is the number I already use !!!obviously not enough staff answering the calls.
Not the Services with the billions in costs ,that the public deserve.

3 separate experiences with Sirona. All really good!

I have just finished a 6 week course in Pulmonary Rehab in Weston - super -Mare. Everything about the course was excellent from the venue to the team to the outcome. I was supported, encouraged and given good feedback on completion. I am sorry to have finished and would carry on if allowed. I met some lovely people with similar conditions, fears and successes and I would give a score of 15/10 to the whole experience.

Sirona is good but

Sirona is good but I called them earlier on at 5:55 this afternoon as I am in server pain ware my catheter is and other problems with it they still have not come out to see me yet and it's been nearly 4 hours I have been waiting am in a lot of pain

Apprenticeship at Sirona

Starting a data analyst apprenticeship at 31 has been a transformative opportunity, and I’m grateful to Sirona for supporting my career change. Their commitment to fostering growth and development has given me the chance to build valuable skills through hands-on experience and learning. Transitioning careers later in life was challenging, but with Sirona’s support and my determination, I’ve discovered a passion for data-driven work. Absolutely shocking service,isn't…

Absolutely shocking service,isn't willing to help. I got referred back in 2023 they said nothing is wrong with my child,when I asked for a second opinion they said no. They also referred me to dietitian who was absolutely brilliant helped and continued to help... she kept the sirona care in the loop for them to write back and say they don't have a service to help maybe the gp can help. Not being funny you've let me and my child down big time.Your meant to help families not make them feel like crap and sh*t parent who's let their child down in actual fact you lot let us down

Not impressed after someone from sirona…

Not impressed after someone from sirona read my previous review and finally called me and said that we had been given the wrong information about transport and sirona do actually provide transport to their appointments and provide transport home especially as no one can drive in our house for medical reasons, and we have still not received a phone call to arrange transport and my husband's toe operation is on Thursday the 31st of October in the morning this is not good service

HR who ignored complaint and aware of discrimination

As an agency worker who worked for North Sirona. I can confirm a few good staff are working hard there but far not enough and unfortunately not just good workers are there. Agencies has very low requirements and they just want to send their staff to work (to get money after them) they recruiting continuously, but North Sirona also cannot complaint , they are well equipped with same low quality of permanent workers. If you work there you will face with permanent staff DISCRIMINATORY behavior and the manager just as the company HR absolutely ignorant. Everything can happen that you can imagine. Because if you are an agency worker nobody cares if you feel you were discriminated that will be acceptable by management. If you want an environment with indifferent leaders, staff and manager who let everything happens with you as an agency worker. This is your place.
The company HR disconnect phone call if you want to raise a complaint against someone who works for Sirona. Also the HR is aware of the discrimination but they absolutely don't care what is going on. No rules,no consequences and zero moral.If they can belongs to NHS services, everyone can.
