Smidge Avis 

Your midge forecast for the Isle of Lewis only covers Stornoway - levels 1 and 2 this morning (07:30 29th August) - 10 miles away in Achmore they are diabolical and are paying no attention to Smidge!

Doesn't work! We are currently in Skye and brought Smidge. Used it before we went out and whilst out, we were absolutely SWARMED. Do not buy this. It is a waste of money. If anything, it attracted them more! Ridiculous.

Bought this stuff for our trip to Scotland. Even though not many of those flies, it helped us so can recommend from what we know.

I was recommended smidge for our week up in Scotland. At last a repellent that I don’t mind wearing, not greasy, smells great & easy to apply, oh & it works!

I've used this previously when borrowed from a friend. Now I've bought my own because it really works! I'm sweet meat to midgies and nothing repelled them before Smidge. Now looking forward to my visit to the Highlands and Islands and I'm not even taking a head net!! 😁. Also thanks for good delivery and Comms ❤️

My experience with midges on a recent trip to walk the West Highland way was not a happy one. The forecast is fictitious at best. Also I purchased Smidge and used as described, yet bitten to death.

Hopeless, i can assure the creators of this map website there are and always have been plenty midges in the higher braes areas around falkirk,yet it scores zero,i use avon skin so soft fantastic keeping the beggers off,

Delivered quickly, no problems, and the products definitely work. I had everyone else on my Scottish camping trip borrowing my midge repellant and getting the name of the company off me. I applied it twice a day and didn't get a single bite on the areas I covered. I could tell how well it worked because I accidentally missed putting it on my feet one evening while wearing flipflops around the camping spot. Absolute blood bath. But the skin that had the repellant on it - not one bite the whole trip.

Going to Skye very soon and needed to get essential survival supplies sent this me. Website simple and informative. Ordered and despatched on same day. Now get to field test.

A must if you are travelling to the Scottish highlands

Three days in the Highlands and not one bite! I usually get eaten alive so I'm so grateful to have finally found something that works.

Smidge is the best and I have tried all the rest. Never go out without it.

I used smidge for years and worked great but this year for some reason it's not as effective as past experiences using the same product kept midges away for 10 minutes tops and after that it wasn't working soon as I reapplied it got 10 minute result again I've always swore by it but not anymore not after going home to find several ticks on areas where it was applied something in the ingredients musta been changed

I am a gardener and I used try to avoid going out in midge weather but not anymore! Finally something that works and has lasting protection, thanks
