Absolutely fantastic service from Shaun at Polar - contacted Polar by phone for advice on adapting and fitting a set of Thule/Konig K-Summit XXL's from a previous car - Shaun was super helpful on the phone trying to help me navigate sizing and in the end I decided to take them down to Polar and have Shaun sort them out...turns out my existing chains were incompatible for the new 110 Defender 20 inch wheels/tires so I bought a set of Konig XG12s which Shaun gave me a tutorial on fitting - and provided me updated parts for my old chains so I can eBay them..am delighted with the new ones, much more compact and easy to store than the K-Summits and surprisingly easy to fit..Shaun definitely took the 'Snowchain-fitting fear' away! So great to find such amazing solutions driven service and a real customer focus. Can't recommend highly enough!

I ordered the snow chains on New Year's Eve. I received a polite phone call to say that the weather and holidays meant that they couldn't meet the promised 3 day delivery. I was offered a delivery either the 6th or 7th, which I happily accepted. I live on the Isle of Skye, we have had several days of snow, and to my pleased surprise, they have arrived on time this morning. The correct items in undamaged condition.

Easy to order on line by putting your tyre size in to see what snow chains fits your vehicle, delivered on time in a plastic case, it takes seconds to fit to tyre but have not used them yet, bought this make KONIG XG-12Pro from other people’s recommendations, they look and feel sturdy only time we’ll tell. Many thanks for your service.

Everything arrived very quickly. The Fire Extinguisher carrying bracket was broken in three places, and the shoe spikes must be for childrens shoes. Obviously not for adults. medium (4-8) will only just fit a size 4, Large (8-13) will not fit on a size 8 boot.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks so much for the quick delivery of my snowchains for our motorhome - I ordered them from you at lunchtime on Thursday, they were delivered Friday afternoon, and without them we would have been completely stuck...when we got back to our storage site, it was 6" deep in snow and almost impossible to manoeuvre. I've never fitted snowchains before, but I had these fitted within about 10 minutes and they were perfect - i had it parked up within 2 minutes!

Heading to the Alps for Christmas, I needed snow chains as a last-minute precaution. After no success with major retailers, I turned online—though I wasn’t hopeful since I needed the chains within 48 hours and live in Northern Ireland, which often complicates delivery. I found Snowchains.com and decided to call instead of ordering online.

Jan answered and was incredibly helpful, focusing on solutions rather than problems. She consulted a technical expert to ensure the chains would fit my oversized wheels and took the time to confirm the right product.

Great price, good advice, quick service (quicker than advertised!)

Perfect. Great service, great product. Bought a Konig 12 Pro snow chains on Friday afternoon. It arrived on Sunday within the hour delivery window given.

I have realised the next day I bought the wrong size chains as I have ordered using car documents rather than checking the actual tires. Called the company and they have exchanged the chains on Tuesday. Didn't have to go anywhere or do anything. The currier that delivered the replacement chains took the old one, attached label that he brought with him and that was it.

I am happy to recommend Polar Automotive and I will be using them for future purchases.
