I needed to leave the country at short notice before having a forwarding address. My items were collected very quickly and professionally. I let them down as I was stuck overseas not knowing my destination. However, Kevin was extremely helpful and patient and not only put up with my confusing target as a customer - but helped me through what can be an annoying process, continually supporting me and going over and beyond what would normally be expected. The price provided to ship my items (by air!) were cheaper than I expected by sea in a shared container. Highly recommend this company as someone who has moved around the planet with my work many times. You won't find cheaper!

Staydan Freight Services represented at the time by Mr Derek Sprake extremely let us down. Being in urgent need to collect the furniture from Italy prior to Christmas 2015, we agreed to pay increased rate for delivery on 22/23rd Dec guaranteed in writing and over the phone by Mr Sprake. Payment completed in advance as requested. On 18th Dec 2015 Mr Sprake Staydan Services sent us an email informing the furniture is being loaded and in response to our e-mail dated 23rd Dec asking for delivery confirmation on that day, we received an email from Mr Sprake saying the furniture is still with Italian haulier as someone accidently put the load for delivery after New Year. High volume of our Custmers ended up with no furniture for Christmas and not only that, they ended up with no Christmas gifts for their loved ones, cancelling the orders. Additionally we lost the deposits paid to external transport companies for booking deliveries on 22/23rd Dec, as we had a written confirmation from Staydan Services, that guaranteed delivery to us on time and we paid for it increased rate. Mr Sprake offered and assurred he will be claiming compensation on our behalf. Furniture finally delivered with no CMR documents, this caused an issue in possibility to identify what actually has been delivered. Once delivery took a place, after several emails chasing paperwork and update on compensation offered, we received an email stating Italian haulier refused to pay any compensation and that he will be now claiming it from CMR Insurance Department. The whole case gone quiet and finally in April 2016 after chasing emails Mr Sprake stated he has chased insurance and there is no answer, therefore he can give us the details if we wish. False promises, followed by high charges paid in advance and lack of on-time delivery or update informing us about the delay. Very difficult communication, responses chased several times, plenty customers who have been let down. We would never use this company again.
