Dishonest! Such a disappointing experience.
Total misrepresentation of the property that we rented from them. Trusting they would be honest and that their description would mention all relevant details, such as the villa being situated on the main junction of two very busy roads! The road noise is constant, worse at peak times of the day, with lorries and trucks trundling by, speeding cars, revving motorbikes and general traffic noise (daily screeching of police/ambulance sirens) makes lying by the pool whilst taking a break from work and life is definitely not an option here. If we had been informed of the location we would definitely not have rented this property and found somewhere in a location better suited to our family. To make matters worse, their defence is along the lines of ‘due to the villa being walking distance to a local village we should expect road noise!!!’
The property has no boundary between the road and the entrance so stepping out you are immediately faced with potentially being hit by a car or lorry-terrible for families with young children.
Wholly irresponsible of Stay One to not mention any of this information in the villa particulars. Give people the opportunity to make an informed choice of where they spend their hard-earned holiday time and their money…
