Absolutely bloody awful
Absolutely bloody awful, I've put a stop on any service or new car purchases from the Strattone Group. (Jardine) for the company of 400 employees I work as Chairman
Absolutely dreadful experience of poor service and long lead time. You have to wait ages for them to even answer the phone. I had to wait 8 weeks for a routine recall or 12 weeks if I wanted a courtesy car.
When you finally had the vehicle, you let me down on timing and kept the car over the weekend.
My service representative didn't respond to emails or phone calls, so I wrote officially the sales manager, who didn't even have the courtesy to reply.
The service advisor and service manager, should be sacked immediately and join Keir Starmer's dole queue
My experience wasn't just bad, it was awful

Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I cancelled my order a couple of weeks after placing it as the dealer couldn't match another quote I received. I was told from the beginning that my deposit was fully refundable as long as the car hadn't been built, yet I have been refused a refund and outright ignored by the Business Manager there ever since I put through my cancellation. Avoid this dealer as they have zero integrity and extremely poor customer service. I called the dealer again today and I was told by another person there that they are unsure why I haven't been refunded. This clearly shows that the Business Manager I have been dealing with has no clue about their own policies. The contract I signed did not state anything about a no refund policy.

Still Maintaining Good Service.
Service advisor, Roland Payne, was excellent. He kept me fully informed throughout the time my XF was in for service, brake pads/discs replacement and MOT. My car was beautifully clean on pick up and customer service all round was good from drop off to collection. The Jaguar 3 year old car service discount makes a financial difference too. I’ve been coming to Jaguar Reading for 22 years now and hope this attention to detail prevails.

My Discovery Sport was recalled for a…
My Discovery Sport was recalled for a steering issue, which was booked in to JLR Reading for the repair, when I collected my car the entertainment screen was no longer working, which I reported to them immediately. I then had to book the car back in for inspection and they said it was not related to the works carried out even though it had to be due to something they did whilst in their workshop. It was obvious that they had disconnected the battery during the recall works as all the trip metres were on zero when I got it back, which may have caused some kind electrical fault on the controller when re-connected. After many conversations with customer service, they finally said they would take the car in for diagnostics, but they would charge me for the pleasure.
I have had 4 Land Rovers and 3 Jaguars and was considering buying a new Defender. NOT ANYMORE!
