Superbly well stocked shop with very helpful assistants. The've got the lot.

Ive made two online orders in the last month totalling over £500.
First one i didnt hear from them for a week. Chased up by email and eventually called them. Turns out half the items were out of stock and they were waiting backorder delivery.
2nd order made a week ago. No email acknowledgment again. Chased up with various means. They arent answering the phone now. I will leave it until the weekend before i get in touch with my Card issuer and report fraud.

For a RC shop it's staff arnt very knowledgeable considering the questions I asked wernt exactly rocket science. The shops messy with a rough layout kinda like tk maxx only go if you know what your looking for... Personally I would spend and save some money going online their customer service in fact there whole business mentality doesnt warrant supporting your local shop and its a mistery they are still in business

Well deserved 5 star for these guys. Ordered a fixed pitch micro rc heli and from the start service was great. Item was dispatched same day via Parcel Force 24 and arrived well packed. Unfortunately I had issues with my item being manufactured defective however I emailed the shop and spoke to Mark on the phone who tried to help me troubleshoot the issue, this did not work and SMC issued a replacement and sorted collection without questioning the matter any further.

Great overall experience, and will definitely be shopping from here more!

Bought a HITEC servo saver for my Tamiya Hornet from these guys last week. It arrived very quickly and did the job. I have no complaints about Sussex Model Centre at all, and would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Delivery was very reasonable, too.

1st time using SMC. I have found all the chaps very helpful and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to not make me feel like an stupid when I phone them, asking help with the most basic of questions. They will also offer sound advise when asked. Their postal service is also first-class. Well worth the the five stars I have given them.

Was talked into buying a product I didn’t go in for as they’d run out of stock of what I required. Was then offered it cheap as to get me to buy it. I trusted there opinion and made the purchase to find out the product was now obsolete! They just got angry and offensive when I rang and questioned there sale ethics! Awful way to deal with the public.

I have now ordered a number of items from them and the service has been great. Arrives as stated and well packaged, will certainly use them again

1 week to ship in stock items very poor and charged me £3.50 postage for 3g of weight that will fit in the palm of your hand

I bought my P4 Pro Drone from these guys. Really friendly, value centred family business. Wish there were a few more companies round like this with old school values.

Have used most UK model shops over the years But Sussex Model Centre is the best. Always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I recently had missing parts in a SeaGull CAP232 and they arranged with distributor to send replacements. No arguments, no questioning as to date of purchase, they even phoned me to update position with distributor. This is excellent after sales service.

Called a few days ago to purchase a roll of yellow model covering after frantically searching online with no luck elsewhere, the staff member I spoke to was brilliant and helpful and found the exact product in stock that I needed and posted the item out to me the same day.

Arrived the following day in mint condition in a protective wrapping tube.

I've been shopping here for years, always a great range of R/C stuff, and really useful for those last minute parts.

It's a shame this place sell cars missing parts and then expect you to wait weeks for the parts to turn up very unhelpful , we've got you're money nothing else really matters to us ,didn't even say how long parts would be when there here there here less than helpful avoid unless you want countless pointless phone calls

Sussex Models online are very reliable and prompt.
I always use them now, after a few disappointments with other online model shops.
They always have what I need, and the prices are very reasonable.
