I purchased a car from Sytner Select Warrington, and within one month, I had already reported three separate issues with the vehicle.
I was advised to take the car to Sytner Select Wolverhampton; however, upon arrival, I was informed that they were no longer part of the Sytner Select franchise. Unfortunately, the Warrington branch also no longer exists, and there appears to be no way to contact them.
As a result, I am now left with a defective car and no clear point of contact to resolve the matter or assist with my complaint.
BE WARNED !!!!
synter group sold me a BMW x3 with a dangerous fault ( starter motor cable not clipped back in after the service) and has burned through to bare cable.
BMW haliwel Jones today highlighted this fault saying it could have caught fire at any time.
I contacted synter who said ....
The manager has gone home.
I can't have a courtesy car.
Its not covered by the 3 month warranty ( but I took out a 12 month additional cover).
They wont replace the cable without a report.
In a nut shell, fobbed me off royally.
20k+ vehicle handed over in a dangerous condition.
If you have children just bear this in mind.
Im paying BMW to replace the fault myself rather than let these cowboys anywhere near my car again.

On Thursday 23/4/2026 I reserved a car to be relocated from Wakefield to Warrington and paid a deposit. I spoke with Leon who assured myself the car would be delivered at the latest on Wednesday the following week. When I looked at the website on Saturday the car had been reserved and then on Sunday removed from the website. I rang and spoke again to Leon who said the car was in transit to them. I rang the Warrington showroom only to find out that the car in question had been sold on Sunday at Wakefield. (You’d think once you paid a deposit it’s would be legally binding but not with Synter by all accounts) I spoke with John a manager at Warrington on Tuesday who said the money would be returned within the next 3-5 days. I received an email today from Leon telling me that the car had failed its prep. It’s very disappointing when to can’t get the truth. I am now trying to get my deposit back but no-one is now answering the phone. My overall experience is a disappointing one.

I’ve been trying to make contact with Sytner Warrington with regards to buying a Kia EV6, spoke to multiple people and all I get is "somebody will call you back" but nobody does!!!
Left messages for Charlie Barry, no reply!!!
Last night I tried again and spoke to Warren, he said he was just with a customer and he’d call me back as soon as he was done, he never did!!!
I’m not entirely sure how you actually sell cars if this is how you treat potential customers, I can only class this as a blessing, if it’s so difficult to buy a car then I would imagine after sales is a nightmare.
Thanks Sytner, but you can keep it!!!

Sent THREE requests for information on polestar optimisation at their Warrington location, received three automated emails saying someone would be in touch and not one person has bothered to make contact.
A truly pathetic customer service, I'll be driving a little further to a lookers volvo .
If they can't be bothered answering customers who just want a software upgrade how bad will they be for customers who actually have an issue with their car??!!

I recently bought a used Tesla Model Y RWD from the Warrington Showrooms. The experience was really good. Ali, Danny and Nathan were very professional, friendly and helpful, from the moment I entered the door. I had two test drives in the car and nothing was too much trouble.
The buying experience was easy and open. Of course I'd have liked a bit more for my car, but then again who is ever happy at that bit?
The Tesla was well presented, very clean and tidy. It only had one key card, which did mean some inconvenience setting it up for my wife and myself, but Tesla came to the rescue and I ordered two new ones that arrived two days later. I was able to set up the Tesla App myself and used the bill of sale from Sytner on the app and once I'd worked things out, it was faultless.
My only niggle was the couple of minor things I'd been assured would be done by the time I picked up the car one week later, hadn't been done. An hour on the pick up day at the showrooms and it was all done, so in the grand scheme of things there wasn't a problem. I was literally just a niggle and they apologised and accepted their mistake, so no problems. It was Danny and Nathan who insisted I put this bit in the review, so they could get a full picture, so hopefully the company will learn from it.
All in all I love the car, was very happy with the experience and I'd highly recommend using the Warrington Showroom.

I bought a car that was advertised as having 9347 miles. That was also what was on the invoice. Next day when I reset the trip mileage I noticed the odometer said 12815. I immediately called the dealership and got a salesperson who said his manager wasn't available but he would inform him and they would get back to me. I also sent the manager an email. I also sent the salesperson an email. Nothing. No response from anybody. That's when I sent a more strongly worded email and used their online complaints procedure. STILL nothing. It's been over a week and they have refused to contact me. I'm having to consider my legal options now.
