Well set out and clean bowling alley . It was particularly noisey versus other visits and busier than normal so waited ten minutes to play . Change machine not working . Drinks good .

We couldn't find the bowling ball weight we wanted, the lane appeared bumpy which affected the rolling of the bowling balls, the food was mediocre ar best and the service was quite slow. The adult... Voir plus

Had a god experience at the 10 pin…
Had a god experience at the 10 pin bowling, very good atmosphere and vibe. I liked the fact it also has arcade games and pool tables. We ended up spending a good few hours there and even stopped for drinks.

Staff were helpful setting up the game…
Staff were helpful setting up the game on the screen. The two bar ladys seemed quite flustered but one lady was singing to herself bless her. I found two jugs of squash to be pricy we had carvery at cheswolds before arriving. The cuppa I bought was pricy but decent. I recommend putting coat hooks on the ends of the booths and a big bin in each cubicle it would help others because we left a lot of wrappers i put them on a high ledge so they wernt in our way.

i entered the doncaster branch at 11.40…
i entered the doncaster branch at 11.40 sunday 1st feb & asked for 1 game (2 adults, 1 child) the man behind the desk said sorry full booked til 5.
i left and went on the website in the car park & booked online for 12:50, i did raise this with the same man when i returned and he said that it would’ve been a slot that ‘come up’ which i find hard to believe as it was within seconds of him telling me they’re fully booked.

Poor time keeping
Booked for 3pm but had to wait 30 minutes for our lanes to become available. Loads of people doing the same and having to wait past their booking time. Pretty sure they just continuously take bookings and don’t fill the slots online so end up with a back log. Couldn’t move in the arcade due to the sheer amount of people. Staff on site were pleasant enough, would imagine it’s a company policy thing to just get it as full as physically possible without considering customer experience.

Staff were lovely and the general vibe…
Staff were lovely and the general vibe of the place good however the lane itself was not brilliant. The pull to the side was excessive and a couple of times the system missed shots for members of our group. My son got a strike and it put a pin back up- he was not happy.

A great time, wish we had the photo afterwards
We had a great time at the escape room first off.. an amazing experience and we would definitely do it again, bowling after was good, a bit of a wait after our designated time slot but it was ok. We was supposed to get a photo of ourselves ‘escaping’ the escape room but it never came through which was a little disappointing.. other than that it was a great day

Good value and service
How 7 year old loved his party at Tenpin. The staff were excellent and couldn’t be more helpful.
The parties are good value and all the kids had a great time.

Booked for 6 pm,told to get there 15 min early , which we did , didn’t get to bowl till 615 ,which was fine , what I did not like is that , they wouldn’t sell me a glass of milk , it’s a kids place and you can buy fizzy pop or slush puppy’s but nothing that’s good for them which is strange as they sold me it last time we come ,which when I told the young lad serving us this , he basically called me a liar , and offered latte as an option ,my boy is autistic so only drinks milk so had I known I would have took my own this time round but as said , they sold me glasses of milk last time we come

Not a nice place
The sheer noise is the building meant you couldn’t hear when you were called on the tannoy. Felt like too many people in this relatively small building. Queue at the bar was ridiculous and took ages to get served. Arcades had numerous machines broken or out of order. Place felt generally scruffy.
Finally, when attempting to book a lane the day before, the website was down and the phone lines had endless wait time including being cut off after holding for 20 minutes. No apology the next day though!

Eh, could have been better.
It was fine. Booked in for my brother's birthday, there wasn't a stated queue line which was very awkward for a family of neurodivergents. Guy who checked us in just expected us to know what we were doing (we didn't) and gave us a strange look when we asked where our lane was &and why we weren't given bowling shoes (we haven't been bowling for a few long time, is this the norm?)
Finding the lane wasn't too hard after this. Couldn't find any different weighted bowling balls though so game was harder than expected (I have atrophied muscles from illness so having to use 10lb balls was not a fun experience.), the mini table to put drinks on was Covered in rubbish and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. It said online at booking we got half price drinks which was okay. Glad there wasn't flashing lights as it was a sensory nightmare (didn't appreciate the screaming toddler and it's mum that barged past to catch said child down our already cramped lane) as it was. Might go again next year, but only because the place we ate at was a short walk from the venue. Also why was there an arcade but no cash machine? We love arcades and was devastated we couldn't use it.
