Tenpin - Sheffield Avis 

This was a free game after having a party there for our son's birthday. However, there was a technical fault after we had 2 turns so had to move lanes. The first member of staff had very poor social skills and didn't even talk to us when she came to check the issue. The second member of staff was lovely, explained that a fuse had blown and gave us a voucher for another free game. We will be back! :)

Shocking customer service! Came to celebrate my son’s 8th birthday with 5 friends for his birthday which was pre booked. Arrived to be met with the most sullen young girl ever. No smile, no nothing. Went downstairs and honestly I’ve seen cleaner toilets. Old food and drinks left on tables, food all over the floor and the alley we had hadn’t even been cleaned down before we arrived. We had to remove glasses/rubbish as there wasn’t a staff member in sight. Within 20 minute of our arrival they brought the food out for the children which was the smallest basket of nuggets and fries. Wouldn’t even fill a toddler. Explained we wasn’t ready to eat yet. The staff member shrugged his shoulders and said “well I didn’t know” and walked off. Waited another 25 minute for a coffee. My partner had to go back to the bar and ask where it was for him to be told he needs to go to the other bar for it as it’s made there. The staff I did see was just stood there talking amongst themselves, ignoring customers and not even attempting to keep the place clean and tidy. Not a very good experience and will not be returning.

Food took a very long time to arrive & it was all cold when it did

Everything went smoothly and the staff were good, welcoming and informative.
While the food isn’t obviously isn’t high end restaurant it is good, decent and as expected. It stands up to other places we could have gone to eat very well.
We will most definitely be returning… maybe for golf next time.

Easy to book, staff helpful and polite great afternoon fun for the family

Booked for 8 children for my daughter’s birthday. Really easy booking process. £100 for two games seemed fairly reasonable and was only £24 extra to feed them all so we decided to go for that too. Unfortunately the food wasn’t particularly great which is why I’ve only marked it 4 stars. Staff were mostly really helpful.
We didn’t book the party package as it only available from 10am which was too early for our plans. Would be good to have a later option for kids parties too.

The staff here are very rude, lazy and clueless. I ordered 1 drink to my table, sat there for almost an hour waiting for the drink as I’d gone to find a staff member and no one was to be seen. When I then spoke to a staff member they said that if you ordered a drink it would have come in to them however they apparently didn’t get any orders, I then showed them the email confirmation I got for them to go off for 10 mins and come back to say that someone had turned off their ticket machine. I didn’t get any apology from them a simple I am really sorry about this would have been nice considering my child is autistic and was really thirsty. I am very disappointed and I will NEVER go back there again!

Tasty basket food. Had a fantastic time in the karaoke booth and a good range of arcade games.

Staff were incredibly rude. Pizza was burnt to a crisp. My family were visiting who I haven’t seen in a while and i thought it would be a nice time. Felt incredibly uncomfortable due to staff huffing and puffing whenever we came to them with an issue with the venue. They sent us to a lane which was full of rubbish & empty glasses, I went over and asked if someone could clear the space and the staff member rolled his eyes at me and sent us to another lane. This lane had a broken bumper which wouldn’t come up for the kids. When I asked if they could fix it he (again) rolled his eyes and his version of fixing it was ragging it up so that it then didn’t go down for anyone else’s rounds & stayed up the entire time. I honestly felt too uncomfortable to even ask again. We ordered a lot of food & each pizza was incredibly burnt and the burger was dry. We had to remind them that we ordered one more pizza which hadn’t came. I did give it a while as I thought they’d bring it out, but they don’t & this pizzas base was completely black. I initially bought the deal where we get a pizza included in the booking and when i asked what we do about this (if we have to let them know or do they just bring it over) and the staff said ‘you’ll get it when you get it’. We also took the kids to the arcade and barely any of the games worked properly, had to ask staff to help again and they would take a very long time. As someone who has planned work dos here and enjoyed our time previously, I thought it would be a good place to take a family. Won’t be returning again - awful experience.

i to karaoke and my mic wasnt working and the music wasnt playing correctly eather i only had 15 minutes sing

Overall enjoyed the bowling and it's nice modern set up with private lane booths.

Negative was the staff at check-in didn't explain anything and we stood waiting for a while, went to toilets and ordered drinks before arriving at the lane. We had paid for an hour and then had already used 15mins (obviously time starts when check in at desk) but this wasn't explained or clear. Found that annoying.

Lemonade tasted awful and no one or thing to change a twenty pound note for me to two ten pound notes.

I had mistakenly booked for two junior’s when actually only one was attending. The reception staff would neither amend the booking or allow another game or voucher. Very poor customer experience

2nd time coming for birthdays. Everything's always organised on time and never waiting around. Always get involved with kids and there to help if any issues. We have an ace time every single time

Online deal, otherwise would have cost a lot more, lots of options inside other than tenpin bowling . Staff helpful although need bigger size 🎳 balls.

We used the deal 6 bowling with pizza for £39 and karaoke.
Great deal. Only complaint would be having the food come out mid game. Asked for it to come out after the hour bowling but it came out during and at 11am.
The food is quite poor. Had a party in the past - party very good but Children’s party pizza is rock hard dough and horrible cheese - these are ordered in specifically for the party. I also ordered separate pizza and it was burnt charcoal black on the bottom - really inedible. The food does put me off booking a party to be honest.
The staff are friendly and the party leader has always been great.

Brilliant night never been before but definitely be back great atmosphere great staff couldn't fault it 👍
