The Duo Photography
The Duo were our photographers of our wedding in Cyprus that took place on 02.11.2025 and the final photos were received a couple of months after the ceremony.
The portfolio presented before booking looked very strong, but the final wedding photos we received were noticeably different in quality and style. This was disappointing, as the expectations set initially did not match the end result. There is a noticeable lack of artistry in the final material — the photos feel more like simple documentation rather than creative work, with no sense of atmosphere, aesthetic direction, or unique artistic perspective.
More specifically:
In many photos, the lighting appears flat, without depth or any dramatic effect.
The composition in several frames seems careless (cut-off limbs, distracting backgrounds, lack of balance).
The emotion and natural feel we expected are missing — many shots look staged or cold.
There is no clear storytelling or flow in the way the moments of the day are presented.
The color grading lacks consistency and, in some cases, appears dull.
When we raised our concerns, no solution or assistance was offered. Our opinion is that that the level of quality they present and promote is achieved only when conditions are fully ideal, when no meaningful guidance or involvement is required from their side, and when they consider that the work may serve their own promotional purposes.
