Even when purchasing around 2 thousand pounds worth of gear from them, there was no support at all. Had couple of questions regarding layout and UFH system requirements but no answers or even reply came back

Designed a system for me, good on price and helped me install too with advice on the phone. Quick smooth delivery too.

They make return and refund as difficult as possible. After chasing twice for information on how to return the items, they eventually responded. Instead of providing customer service they provide a list of clauses from their terms and conditions that you have to filter through to see if you can send the item back, which includes ensuring you ask for a return within 14 days of receipt of the item. Then you have to not only answer a list of questions that you already answered by sending them the order email they originally sent you, but you also need to find the invoice number which is different to the order number (included on email already), list the items being returned (included in the email already), include photos of the things you want to send back and then once they check it all, they will send you something you need to print out - you cannot return without this piece of paper.

And finally when you’ve paid for the postage and sent it back to them within the 7 days you’re allowed, they charge you another £10 for processing the return… which is actually unlawful.

It’s fine if you ordered the right thing but they clearly don’t want to deal with returns, which is probably why they state they adhere to consumer rights act 2015 - only just - because they make it as complicated as possible!!!

Just treat your customers like people not robots. I will never use them again! I don’t want to give my money to company that are basically doing the bare minimum.

Excellent service from Mark who did a lot of work on my behalf regarding the programmable thermostat that I had bought, which arrived promptly and well packaged. Sadly I wasn't able to install it in its intended position, and when I explained this I was invited to return the item for a full no quibble refund. Amanda was extremely helpful regarding the administration, and overall I can't fault them. Excellent service and highly recommended.

I ordered a 500-meter pipe for an underfloor heating installation. It arrived securely on a well-packed pallet, which was a good start. However, once I unstrapped it and began laying it out, I discovered that the pipe was badly damaged in several areas, with multiple cuts along the length. This made it unsuitable for a full underfloor heating system as intended. To salvage the situation, I had to cut out the damaged sections and create smaller circuits instead. While the packaging and delivery were fine, the condition of the pipe was disappointing and caused unnecessary delays and extra work.

Prior to purchasing a complete overlay kit I contacted The Floor Heating Warehouse a couple of times by email and by phone with a product technical query and delivery options, the staff were very helpful and accommodating every time.
My order arrived in good condition, palletised with protection on the corners to prevent potential transit damage to the relatively fragile XPS insulation boards, and then the whole shipment was then pallet rapped.
The delivery however did arrive a day later than scheduled which could have been an issue.
