The Garden Office Avis 

We had a wonderful experience with Green Retreats. We visited their showroom located outside Oxford having spent a few weeks earlier configuring and sizing the product from the website. The Staff at Green Retreats had been wonderful from start to finish. They had been very transparent and helpful when we spent 3 hours grilling them whilst performing our product due diligence in their show room. They sent their own expert engineers to assess the site, install foundations, deliver the main build, plastering, electrics and finishing.

In summary, the Green Retreat products are excellent. The project teams are very well organised (everything is documented). The delivery teams and engineers are all very courteous, polite and they are extremely good at what they do.
In my opinion, Green Retreats set the benchmark for product and customer service....they conduct themselves way better than firms which claim "they fit the best".

From the moment we visited the great showroom to the completion of the room yesterday we found this company to be very friendly and professional, once you place the order (no hard sell) you are allocated an account manager who guides you through the process.

The installation team turned up when expected and the work they produced was to a high standard and we have had no issues with the finished product

The installation team came exactly as planned, caused no disruption to the garden and the finished room looks fabulous!

We love our Garden Office! The whole experience was brilliant, from designing the office online all the way through to the build completion. The showroom experience was wonderful, everyone was so patient and happy to explain our endless questions. The communication throughout the whole process was fabulous. I was never in any doubt of what was going to happen when. All the separate teams that built the building were all very friendly, approachable and did a great job.. and all turned up exactly when expected! Great job everyone!

My new Studio looks great. Installation was quick and completed on the days agreed with no fuss or drama. The overall look of the building is just what I wanted and it sits really well in our garden. Regular contact by the company prior to installation was useful and I found visiting the showroom really helpful to confirm decisions made using the brochure. The £200 discount for visiting was helpful as it was quite a round trip for us.

I had an excellent experience with this company after months of extensive research of the alternatives for this type of product. Many other companies claim to offer similar products but there is always something not included as standard or some hidden costs. The Garden Office offer a complete solution with everything included in the price. If you are considering a garden office or studio, this is the company I would recommend without hesitation.

It is so rare to find a company that, from the outset, can provide such a high degree of care, planning, organisation, meticulousness, flexibility and skill. This, when coupled with courtesy across all site workers and admin staff and first-rate communication turns a potentially stressful and expensive project into nothing but a joy. The Garden Office team, led by Amanda have proved this from start to finish and I recommend them wholeheartedly. I now have a gleaming music studio taking pride of place where a former shabby beaten-up garden shed once stood. That's where I'll be and I may be some time... Thank you all very much. Dan.

From start to finish we have experienced excellent customer service and a lovely building! There was no pressure to buy and queries were dealt with promptly and politely. On site teams worked quickly with good communication and left no mess (and didn't have a complicated tea order!).
The resulting building is lovely and we can't wait to get our nearly-teenager installed in there with his playstation.

Our Garden Retreats build was handled so professionally from start to finish I have no reservations in recommending them and already have. From our visit to the showroom to the teams building and fitting the staff have been so helpful, thoughtful and polite. I would particularly like to thank the customer support team as they were always so cheerful, you could 'hear' them smiling and all the guys building our dream studio/home office who were so considerate even with the tricky parking. We are delighted with our garden office- it looks amazing. I would highly recommend Green Retreats- the buying process was extremely easy with knowledgeable staff to guide you and then installation that happened exactly as planned with workman who turned up on time, were polite, tidied up and checked we were happy with everything at every step. I’ve been admiring the Green Retreats rooms for a long time now - the transparency of their prices was a particular draw, and now that my home business has outgrown the spare bedroom we decided to take the plunge and visit the showroom.

Firstly I was struck by how friendly and professional the whole sales team were, no question was too silly and no heavy sales tactics were used - even when the extras we were considering could have meant they pushed us towards the more expensive TG02, they didn’t once try and suggest we pick something other than what we had in mind. There was plenty to keep the children busy and we were all offered a hot drink. We placed our order for a 5 x 2.5m Inspiration, and we even got a £200 discount as a thank you for visiting - an unexpected bonus!

Once ordered, our allocated customer service adviser Heather was friendly, efficient and always prompt to answer my questions (however strange they were). She’s a credit to the company.

The base team arrived prompt at 7.30am and worked tirelessly in some pretty horrific weather to get the base installed in less than half a day. They were all polite, smart and left my garden as they found it.

The build crew were equally as amazing, and they’ve built me a truly lovely room, they clearly have a pride in the work they undertake and this shows in the finished building. They again worked non-stop and completed the build in essentially two half days (they were rained off on day one, but worked until the building was watertight).

Time will tell how well the building lasts, and I will update my review periodically as I use the building - However, I have confidence in Green Retreats to provide good aftercare if anything does arise though.

Finally, If I had one very minor niggle (because no company can be completely perfect) it’s that one of my internal wall panels (I have the melamine finish) has a visible light surface scratch (presumably done by accident during installation) - this doesn’t detract from my five star review and the base team boss was very apologetic and advised it does sometimes happen.

The whole process from first configuring my garden office on the website, visiting the showroom through to final build and commissioning the office in my garden has been seamless and with no problem. The building is excellent quality and the footings team and build teams were professional and friendly. They arrived for a prompt 8am start each day and worked solidly despite the rain on Day 1. I am very pleased with the result and have no hesitation in recommending Green Retreats for your ‘extra space’
