The Most Honest, Transparent and Supportive Site
I am an existing customer of themecanal.com. So far, I am very happy with their service and the quality of their products and the TRANSPARENCY of their message. I recently bought the "Sensei Interactive Blocks" plugin from them which I could not find anywhere on any gpl sites. They managed to provide me this plugin through certain communication between us via their support portal. Their support and enquiry portal for their customers is pretty satisfactory. I can GUARANTEE their quality is the top-notch among others, having been a member of a few other gpl sites in the past. Their Transparency is also wonderful, they disclose beforehand which plugin works without license and which plugin needs license to have at least one of its features to operate. Trust me, so far they are the best gpl product providers in terms of quality, support and integrity. Highly impressed.

No assistance if you can't log in
I purchased a plugin two years ago, saving the login details for the website. Currently, the login information doesn't work, so I tried to recover the password. The site informs me that the password has been sent to my email, but I receive nothing. The site says that if I can't resolve it with the password recovery, I can contact them for assistance. However, when I go to the contact page, it states that assistance is only available if you are logged in. Since I can't log in, I can't receive assistance. Quite amusing, isn't it?

Note that we had purged inactive accounts of 2 years+ those years back, and your account may have been affected. Additionally, purchased downloads expire after 1 year, so repurchasing might be necessary if your purchase has exceeded this timeframe.

So far the best place to get Plugins
Like you, I've searched around a lot and most of them had viruses, issues or we're scam. These people are legit, I've been with them 1+ Year. They might not have everything and some plugins are out of date, but for the most part you find everything you need 9/10.

Bad customer service nowadays
Had a great experience with themecanal for a long time. However, recently I bought a theme of which I couldn't find the settings anywhere. Contacted support multiple times without reply, they even deleted my support ticket without contacting me.

Outdated plugin, sold without support
I was surprised to see the "yith woocoomerce stripe connect" plugin at a HEAVY discount. I thought it was too good to be true - it was. Looking closely they sell a version which is over a year out of date.
I contacted Yith who said:
"yithemes.com is the only official shop where we sell our products. We are the official developers of the plugins and we offer support and updates. We guarantee clean coded plugins that we make ourselves from scratch. Any third party platform that sells our products is no officially authorized reseller, and the plugins you get there may contain malware code. In addition to this, they come without a support license, meaning that you will not be able to get updates nor benefit from technical support in no way."
