The Lutyens bench was beautifully made…
The Lutyens bench was beautifully made but difficult to assemble. Clearly someone else had tried and failed since there were broken dowling pegs in some sockets. However considering the substantial reduction in the Clearance price it was a good buy.

It sounds like the broken dowels may have been from a test fit and missed during packaging. A spare dowel kit is supplied with the bench just in case 👍

As a very kind gesture, Richard included some accessories at no extra cost and went above and beyond to make the delivery experience smooth, stress-free, and thoroughly enjoyable, a truly lovely and unexpected surprise.

1st rate service, communication and delivery
This is why I deal with smaller family owned businesses.
Immediate replies to emails. Phone calls straight back to me when I had a question, and then being told, (when I asked for a delivery date). "I will have it delivered within the hour". Great personal touch, which this day and age is hard to come by. Richard is a top bloke, and a pleasure to do business with. Bought the Teak bench for my parents 85th birthday. They are thrilled with it. Great product. Highly recommend The Teak Store 10 out of 10
