Nothing “Thriving” About Thriving Investments
My experience with Thriving Investments and ReSI Homes has been nothing short of a complete organisational failure.
What began as defects within my home developed into an almost 20-month ordeal involving repeated delays, poor communication, ineffective complaint handling and a complete lack of ownership.
Serious defects affecting my property remained unresolved for an unacceptable period, ultimately resulting in my family having to leave our home while extensive remedial works were undertaken. No homeowner should have to endure that level of disruption simply because defects were not properly addressed from the outset.
The complaint handling was equally disappointing. Promised updates were repeatedly missed, communication frequently stopped altogether, and I found myself constantly chasing responses rather than receiving proactive management. Staff changed throughout the process, continuity was lost and I repeatedly had to revisit issues that should already have been understood.
Even during the remedial works, I was forced to monitor the project myself, raising concerns about workmanship, the repair methodology, damage to my home and the lack of protection afforded to my property. Those concerns often went unanswered whilst the works continued.
The most frustrating aspect has been the absence of accountability. At every stage, responsibility appeared to move elsewhere while the burden remained with me to pursue progress.
There have been individuals who have been helpful, and where something has been done well, I have acknowledged it. Unfortunately, isolated examples of good service cannot compensate for systemic failures in communication, leadership, project management and complaint handling.
Based on my experience, Thriving Investments has demonstrated a culture where residents are expected to tolerate prolonged delays, poor communication and unnecessary disruption before meaningful action is taken.
I sincerely hope no other resident has to experience what my family has endured over the last 20 months
