This place has went down hill fast

This place has went down hill fast. I gave years of my life to this place, only to be dismissed when I was constantly verbally, and almost physically assaulted while working there. It is all about who management likes the best on what type of things you can get away with. They do not appreciate the actual honest workers. They talk a great game but the actions are the opposite of the words that they speak. No one that has worked there over a couple years is actually happy to work there anymore. All I heard is "it's a job", "I can pretty much do whatever so it's alright" and nothing good was ever heard about the current management. If you want your hard work and actual honesty to be appreciated and you are not going to give up your morals and standards, or you are a younger person who is just looking for a job that just needs bodies for a little bit, this is not the place for decent people. All the nice people that have started there are no longer there or have become so jaded, it makes you shake your head. This is my experience at my old Maxx in Central Illinois. Oh yeah, I have literally heard cordinator talk about the difference between "black people and n#####s" and yes, it's disgusting. I think they forget the breakroom door is super thin. Maybe others have different experiences but this was mine.

Went to TJ Max in Warrenton Oregon

Went to TJ Max in Warrenton Oregon. Sign on door says mask required. Gal in her 30years evidently thought that doesn’t apply to her! When I asked the clerk if they enforced that policy she said it was up to the customer. When I am asked to do something I do it out of respect for the company, other customers and their loved ones. If You don’t agree don’t go there!!! I hope she never has a loved one die like I’ve seen so many families lose their loved ones I’m a nurse wearing more gear than just a mask while I’m taking care of those less fortunate 😔. It counts!!!

This isn’t a statement it’s me giving respect and caring about the Heath of others

I ordered to click and collect

I ordered to click and collect. Then the tracking’s shown that it was in dpd depo. Without any explanation,nothing, they sent email it was refunded. Now all items out of stock. So thanks for that.

BEWARE OF WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN TJ MAXX MAKES A MISTAKE! I am completely shocked at the terrible treatment that I experienced today with both TJ Maxx as well as Synchrony Bank (TJ Maxx credit card). I considered myself a Maxxinista for decades, but never again! I placed a large order today, and noticed in my email confirmation that my address was incorrect. I moved, and changed it at the site as well as the credit card. I even verified it before I placed the order. So- I immediately called customer service. Not only were they not helpful (to say the least!), but downright rude. My problem, too bad...if I wanted to make an address change, call UPS, set up an account and cause a re-direct of the package... I said that was crazy- I just placed the order minutes before. NOPE! Not going to help. I asked for a supervisor. Rudely told that no one else would help, I was wasting my time. I said that I would hold. And hold and hold and hold...finally came back and said that no one was available. No one. So, I said that I would like to cancel the order. "No" I was told: too late. Can't cancel after an order is placed. I said this is crazy! I JUST PLACED THE ORDER MINUTES AGO. Didn't matter. I went on the TJ Maxx site and tried to send a complaint. It bounced back TWICE!! (I saved copies of everything). SO- then I called the TJ Maxx credit card company. I said that I wanted to be sure that no charges went through today. The woman that answered said that she did see some charges from a few minutes ago. I said that I wanted to be sure they did not go through. She said that the only way to do that would be to file a complaint, and they have 60 days to respond. "What are you talking about? I do not want this order, I do not want these charges. The order will go to a wrong address and I cannot cancel?" She said, yes, that's right. I said that I would like to cancel the card. She said "no problem, it is cancelled. Anything else I can do for you today?". This is shockingly unbelievable lack of service. Not counting the fact that I was a perfect credit card customer, and a long time TJ Maxx customer. I have spent thousands of dollars here. SO BEWARE- as long as they do not make any mistakes, everything will be fine. As soon as they DO make a mistake, you are on the hook. They will not help, really don't seem to care, either. NEVER BUY FROM THEM ONLINE- and NEVER get a card from Synchrony Bank-Bunch of crooks.

Less than one star

Less than one star. Been on hold for 3 hours today. They transfer me to a department that doesn’t exist. No one can answer my question. Will never recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible customer service TXMAX…

My experience as many others of TXMAX appalling customer service and aftercare. I was quickly dismissed even though the item purchased was faulty. A lady called Emila and Manager point bank refused to refund or exchange for a similar item. I have the original purchase receipt although it was worn it had a fault not noticed on purchase. A terrible experience in Hatfield Galleria and one of many bad experiences customers like me who have given them hundreds of pounds in a year. No longer you can keep your poor service and I will very happily spend elsewhere.

I am disgusted with this company I ordered goods mid August still not received , despite several calls and 6 emails no repose from them as to where my goods are and when they will issue refund. I will never use them again they are by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with

They don’t make it easy to leave a review

I have breast cancer right now and I love you going for Covid test until my work for my Covid test only way the fact I told him last time and they don’t do sick pay only so many hours and since were in a mask I guess I am protecting their protect it but I have it she’s going out with cancer and they don’t care because that store so not caring and they care about is making money and getting stuff on the shelves and selling credit cards and trying to save a child’s life where you go to that organization you might want to know where it’s going

Worst website on planet earth- cannot pay my bill!! Continuous loop for signing in requires repeated change of passwords and repeated lack of recognition of person’s account. Will pay my bill and cut up this stupid card!

Terrible customer service experience

Terrible customer service experience. I called to add an authorized user to my account and the representative couldn't answer my questions and argued with me when I asked to speak to someone else. I could hear roosters crowing in the background and she refused to transfer me when I questioned her. Terrible experience.

I am going to start with saying this is not about my local store. This is an issue with the online store. I ordered an item online. I did not get the item I ordered the information inside the order is not mine. The return slip does not have my item, address or order number. So I called the customer service and was told no refund without a return. Fine don’t like the item I got I am more than willing to return it. But how will they know to refund my order? No answer from the rep just return the item and you will be refunded. Nope don’t trust you now. So I go to my local store to see if they can do the return/refund. No they can’t unless they have the physical item in the store as in they sell it. So they offer to call customer service for me. Again just return the item and a refund will be issued. When asked 3 times how will you know who to refund they finally tell me to print out my order confirmation or write everything out and put it in the return. And wait for it to be processed at the return center. It can take 3-4 week total to issue refund. So not worth it

TJ MAXX IN DAVIS CA

TJ MAXX IN DAVIS CA. The manager doesn’t know how to manage or deal with unmasked people. The men’s section is full of t shirts that are straight from the 90’s. The beauty section is usually disorganized. When digging through one of their piles of toys (the way they displayed them) the manager came up, annoyed and asked what I was looking for! They pile up their merch but don’t like people looking through it? They constantly harass you to get their credit cards but when you go for a return it’s like a huge hassle for them and they become annoyed. The only pro is that I’ve found some good luggage there in the past. My recommendation is if you like TJ MAXX find a different location.

Excellent work ethic

Jamie - the store manager of the Massapequa NY location was amazing. An accident had occurred outside in front of the store and she sprung in to action. I did my part by staying with the lady who was injured but she was multi tasking like I’ve never seen before. She was directing traffic, assigning people what to do and where to stand, going by tj maxx’s protocol and just doing what she does best ! Being an amazing manager who probably doesn’t get enough recognition. More people like her should be hired - people that care and really want to make a difference. Jamie - you are awesome keep being you !

Great customer service as always

My name is Eliza. I lived in cape coral and i always buy my everything there, great and hard working people excellent customer services. Miss Diaz the manager is great and the ladies there specially Miss Maxi always help me to find what i am looking for, she does above and beyond excellent job, thank you Ladies keep up and awesome job.

I have now ordered the same dress…

I have now ordered the same dress twice. Both shipments continued the wrong dress/wrong size? Not sure how their quality control works, but it is clearly time for an overhaul.
I now ordered 6 of the same item/size in hopes one may be correct! Frustrating!
