Ich habe mich über die "Gratis Testen"-Aktion gefreut. Auf der Verpackung steht groß "Gratis testen" und "Diese Tafel geht auf uns", was die Erwartung weckt, dass man nach Kauf den Kaufpreis erstattet bekommt. So habe ich das auch schon bei anderen Produkten erlebt und fand solche Aktionen immer cool.

Stellt sich heraus, dass es nur ein sehr kleines wöchentliches Kontingent gibt und man montags möglichst um Punkt 9 Uhr auf der Webseite sein muss, um überhaupt eine Chance zu haben. Ich konnte die versprochene Rückerstattung bis jetzt nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Das Ganze ist eher ein Glücksspiel als eine echte Geld-zurück-Aktion.

Bei den vollmundigen Versprechen auf der Vorderseite der Packung grenzt die Aktion leider an bewusste Verbrauchertäuschung, meiner Meinung nach. Es macht mir die Marke nicht sympathischer, im Gegenteil. Auf Nachfrage beim Support kam eine automatisierte Standardmail, ohne auf meine Punkte einzugehen. Schade, denn die Schokolade und die vom Hersteller vertretenen Werte sind an sich gut.

Aber wenn so eine Aktion handwerklich so schlecht gemacht ist und man sich als Kunde veräppelt fühlt, kann sie (zurecht) auch nach hinten losgehen.

I’ve just eaten my first bar of chocolate from the Tony’s brand, dark chocolate almond sea salt, it tastes nothing like chocolate should taste. Very plastic tasting and will probably never be buying it again. Quite repulsive!

I decided to treat myself to the hazelnut crunch bar. I was very disappointed - particularly for such an expensive bar. My wife was also very unimpressed.
I can’t see me buying another one. I’ll stay with the dark fair trade chocolates from sources I already know and like.

I really enjoyed the caramel chocolate bar!

Tastes like I remember chocolate used to taste when I was a youngster. Almost perfect but needs a touch more silkiness and then that totally smooth taste will come through.

Ich habe Tony’s Chocolonely wegen einer im Supermarkt beworbenen „Gratis testen“-Aktion gekauft. Die Aktion wurde direkt auf der Verpackung und am Regal beworben und war für mich kaufentscheidend.

Nach dem Kauf stellte sich heraus, dass eine Teilnahme praktisch nicht möglich war: Auf der Aktionsseite waren keine Einlösungen verfügbar, selbst zum angekündigten Zeitpunkt montags um 9 Uhr nicht. Tony’s bestätigte mir auf Nachfrage, dass die Aktion kontingentiert ist und das wöchentliche Kontingent wegen hoher Nachfrage oft sehr schnell ausgeschöpft sei.

Aus meiner Sicht ist das irreführend. Wenn eine Geld-zurück-Aktion so deutlich am Kaufpunkt beworben wird, sollte die Teilnahme auch realistisch möglich sein – oder die starke Einschränkung müsste ebenso deutlich sichtbar kommuniziert werden. Stattdessen wird mit „Gratis testen“ ein klarer Kaufanreiz gesetzt, während die tatsächliche Einlösung faktisch kaum erreichbar ist.

Eine konkrete Lösung oder Erstattung wurde mir von Tony’s nicht angeboten. Stattdessen wurde ich lediglich an den Aktionspartner Acardo verwiesen. Für mich ist das enttäuschend und passt nicht zu dem fairen Markenimage, das Tony’s sonst vermittelt.

Ich empfinde die Aktion als intransparent und verbraucherunfreundlich und werde Tony’s unter diesen Umständen nicht weiterempfehlen.

I'm all for fair trade but this tastes incredibly like the cooking chocolate my mum used to buy and was very cheap at the time. Disappointing

Tried today for the first time and love it. I bought both the caramel sea salt and caramel, pretzel, nougat. Reminds me of how chocolate used to taste. Yes, it costs a bit more, but if you want more cocoa and no palm oil and less substitutes, you get what you pay for. Looking forward to trying to more flavours.

Unfortunately no stock for an easter order which was disappointing but the customer service I received was excellent, really impressed with the speed and way in which it was handled, and still had a very happy child even if it wasn't on time for Easter. Thanks.

I just wanted to experiment this choclate. There was a huge promotion announced in the supermarket. Reading the conditions on the package I saw that you would get back the money of this special version of the choclate online after your purchase. After the purchase I wanted to participate at the special offer.
Sadly it was not possible, hence there is only super small contingent per week which is gone within seconds. I really feel I was fooled...

Easter order was late, raised this with customer services who said they were having difficulty with courier, and would assign to an alternative courier. Order arrived 2 days after Easter and was gratefully received by recipient. malik at customer services also sent a further parcel for the inconvenience which arrived today. Thank you for going above and beyond much appreciated.

Just looked online to see other people's opinions on Tony's chocolate, and I am upset to see the negative people out about (they shit on the good quality foods, yet they would rather eat shit (like Cadbury).

First time trying Tony's chocolate, I can immediately taste the quality of REAL chocolate! No oil replacements like the Cadbury's brand - which does not even taste like chocolate anymore.

I would rather pay the £4 and taste quality and support the company's ethos rather than be a cheap c*nt and not give a shit about the world and people.

(Sorry about the foul language, sometimes people just need to wobble their heads).

Please keep releasing great flavours and evolve chocolate, express its beauty and wonder. Become a world leading brand that keeps chocolate as chocolate!

The packaging is amazing (coming from an art student), it immediately stood out and i have been eyeing it for awhile before today's purchase.

And please please please don't introduce oils to cheapen your product!!!!

Will be a loyal supporter if you keep your ethos, maintain the top quality ingredients, and what makes Tony's as Tony's :)

Bought a bar of the milk chocolate to try. Very disappointing, tasted stale & not creamy at all, rather like the cooking chocolate from the 70's.
Won't be buying it again.

Got a Tony’s Easter egg cos they put all these “self aware quotes” on their packaging and seemed like the good guys. Well it was the flattest egg I’ve seen yet and not the cheapest one.

Bought one of your Easter eggs and was accused of being cheap given the shape of it !!!!!! A flat egg ?! Really , just keep it egg shaped please and put a quid on the price !!!! What’s next , half an egg ???? Won’t be buying another one next year .

Their Easter egg is an embarrassment, not that you could call it an Egg as it is not shaped like one, more like an inflated oval, and comes with 5 egg shaped extras. The box is massive inflated by cardboard, so much for a company that cares more for global struggles. The item honestly feels miss-sold.

Not one star as the chocolate itself is nice, but just go buy the bars.

Bought an Easter Egg for my wife . Thought it was expensive at £13.50. Then found it was flat . Not even a nice taste . I know it's ethically sourced ect , but still felt cheated.

I am a chocoholic i used to love Cadbury, when it really was a glass and a half and not Palm oil!!!
Tony's is lovely, chunky and creamy

I was given a small box of Tony's Chocolonely mini eggs. I can only speak for my own personal taste. I thought they were pretty disgusting. Quite a few of the eggs contained a lot of salt but I generally dislike salt. There are much better products out there for your money!
