Very quick response and quote but don't expect much for your tools. The price offered is exactly half of what I can sell online myself. Sure, they have costs and need to make a profit too. I would probably sell to them if I was strapped for cash and needed the money quickly, thankfully I am not in that situation.

I sent Tool Exchange an email detailing my unwanted power tools, very quickly I received a polite reply with a fair offer to purchase some of them.
I agreed to the offer and was then given accurate postage details that I completed.

The procedure was relatively straightforward. I registered my two tools, received a quote which I accepted, then the courier came and picked up the tools. The money then arrived in my bank account.
However, there seemed to be some confusion as to whether I was selling one tool or two. In several of their communications they said "tool" instead of "tools", which I think anything of, but then when the courier came he wasn't happy that he had to collect two tools when he been told only one. He collected them both but went away muttering to himself. I think words would have been said back at Head Office.
