Great service

Great service looked at all the issues raised and seamless with the process can’t fault the team here in Brentwood

Nightmare with Toomey

All was going well with H, even though before everything was finalised a review QR code was being shoved in my face, anyway all good paperwork being signed etc. paid a deposit, just waiting for finance to be submitted, given it’s due it was the Saturday after Xmas, so I get a couple of days grace for an answer yes or no, I don’t expect credit at drop of a hat….

Two weeks later, not hear a word from Toomey Brentwood, so we have had to chase chase and chase again and again… I got declined finance, so my wife was then set up for the finance, day after day we chased again… bear in mind both credit scores are through the roof, wife was also declined.

The customer service was absolutely shocking throughout, I did leave a positive review for H when I was in there, but that was on some Google review thing that I had to sign up to.

I wouldn’t bother wasting your time with Toomey Brentwood, we have just phoned to ask for deposit back and the general consensus was that they couldn’t care less if we were buyers of the car or not.

It’s a shame as it started off well, but ended terribly. With the staff not really caring for customer care or satisfaction.

We undertand our assistant manager Paul spoke with you yesterday to discuss the situation and has now processed the return of your deposit. We understand how disappointing and frustrating the finance outcome was, particularly given the delays, and Paul did apologise both for the decision itself and for the lack of communication during the process.

This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we recognise that clearer and more timely updates should have been given. Our General sales Manager Mark will be giving you a call today to personally follow up and ensure all matters have been fully resolved.

Let Down, Absolute Joke

I’ve already left a review about my first experience with Jaecoo which wasn’t great, but my wife still wanted the car so I decided to try again. I now regret giving them a second chance.

I previously booked an appointment and arrived at the showroom on time. After waiting for almost an hour, I was finally told that nobody was available to see me and that the person who booked my appointment was off sick. No solution, no apology, and nobody stepped in to help, so I left.

After that, I got a generic, AI-style reply to my Google review, and two days later I received an email from the staff member who was apparently off sick asking if I was still interested in buying a car. I said yes and asked for a date and time for an appointment. The reply I got was that they “should be free” but couldn’t confirm anything. That’s not how appointments work.

So I phoned Jaecoo directly to speak to someone who could actually give me a clear answer and discuss finance options like part exchange and monthly payments. I was passed to someone in the finance department who didn’t seem to care at all. He sounded confused when I said I wanted to discuss finance and then told me I already had an appointment (which I didn’t). He then said he could discuss it with me “or I can leave it” — so I hung up. That’s honestly the first time I’ve ever had a dealership act like a customer wanting to spend money was an inconvenience.

What kind of business are you running? Staff who can’t keep appointments, can’t follow up properly, and clearly can’t be bothered to do business. I’ve never known a dealership where a customer is literally trying to buy a car, with money on the table, and the staff still don’t care. Absolute joke.

Freddie at toomy Brentwood was exceptional. There was nothing he didn’t know about the vehicle. I have got to say we have brought brand new cars from dealerships before, but this has got to be the best service we have had. Freddie answered all enquiries and concerns.
