Had a cab booked for 4pm. Called driver to check and he asked if 4:30pm pick would be okay, so I agreed.
Can finally turned up at 5:45pm!
I understand that there had been a punctured tyre and then issues with traffic but this delay is unacceptable.
I was 2 hours late and missed the chance to visit my elderly mother in hospital. Very poor communication from Travaroo about the delay and no real apology or compensation offered

We booked two EXECUTIVE CAR TRANSFERS several weeks in advance. The first was cancelled 16mins prior to pick up. I called up and was told driver had cancelled it. No option of rebooking. Had to find alternative transport ourselves. I asked for refund on the return journey as I had lost faith. They refused to refund saying Id lose my money as it is confirmed. Guess what? They did not show up...not even a cancellation this time. Stranded with a 12 year old in Ipswich at 11.30pm on a Friday night. No one answers the phone all weekend and I had not had a call back despite leaving numerous messages. Apparently the driver cancelled it again. All these guys do is farm the job out to TAXICODE who farm it out to UBER so book UBER direct yourself! They have no direct Customer Service to contact and if you check Companies House they dissolved in MAY!!!!. Thanks for ruining our family trip and leaving a 12 year old stranded on a Friday night in a strange town. Use this firm at your own risk.

absolutely diabolical, cancelled last minute despite booking in advance, now missed train and stuck in chichester for another night, never use this useless, stuck up taxi service. forgot to say that customer service was just as poor, sounded like he wanted to quit his job, gave no reason for cancellation. i could go on but never use this company

My husband booked a taxi through this company they took the money straight away. He needed to cancel it less than 24hrs later only to be told he would only receive 10% of his money back!! How is this legal???

This is a SCAM! Do not use this website to book travel. I booked a taxi through the portal for a journey I needed to make the following day at 5.45am. I paid £62 in advance for this journey. The taxi didn’t show up, nobody contacted me and I haven’t had a response to my requests for a refund. I subsequently missed the train I was due to catch and had to folk out for an Uber (I didn’t realise Ubers were available in the area I was visiting, hence I booked a taxi through this stupid website). I would like my £62 back but, unfortunately, I doubt that’s going to happen since this whole website seems to be money swindling scam.

I booked s taxi, paid £45 and it never arrived. I called, was told it was 15 minutes late. It never came and all my calls were blocked after this.

Wanted to book travel for a future trip to and from a concert venue.
Request submitted through online portal and accepted, but no confirmation received. My card has however been debited.
I have now tried to contact 3 times for confirmation but no response, so I have had to make other arrangements and will request a chargeback from my bank of I still hear nothing.
Not convinced this isn’t a scam!

On no account book Traveroo. I was left out in the countryside after part of a long distance walk. When I rang they said they hadn’t got a driver. NO ONE RANG TO TELL ME. I am 75. Also they are much dearer than local taxis. Station taxis Malton kindly came out at short notice and it was £20 inc tip compared to £33 for Travelroo. In view of this I cancelled the morning lift back to the walk but in spite of promising not to I have still been charged for this. GO LOCAL IS THE LESSON.

Never got what I paid for.
Booked a Courtney car or a Mercedes Benz,a Skoda turned up.

Left us stranded by cancelling a ride I confirmed ahead of time. 25 miles from our lodgings in an area with no Uber. Not having any luck finding any other service. Do not use this service.

This company is a scam. They took my husband’s money and failed to provide a taxi. He received a cancellation text but was still charged. They do not respond to any enquiry and they dispute the refund via our credit card. AVOID.

SHOCKING…!!!! Companies like this should be banned from having a website, 1 Star is a generous review, should invent -Stars….

Booked, received no confirmation, then 3hrs before we were due to depart (05:12am) had email to say they’d cancelled the booking, which left us with no taxi to the airport the day of our flight…!!!!

Please learn from my mistake and avoid this company, that’s if they’re actually a company

SCAM ALERT for sure

1 is generous because you can’t score 0. Despite me calling 2 hours beforehand and being told this time of year they have hundreds of drivers, they cancelled our trip 1 hour before the pickup avoid, avoid, avoid

DO NOT USE - the other reviews are accurate. Not a good company - they took my cash and then cancelled the taxi 24h before I needed it, which has meant I’ve had to go with another company and pay around 20% more, on an already expensive trip. No reason given for the cancellation. If the refund isn’t extremely quick I will be issuing a chargeback order via my credit card company.

Awful. Terrible and unreliable

Booked a taxi for an hours time as that was the earliest they could do. Then let us down by email 5 minutes before pick up time

0 stars. Awful company. Had booked to get picked up from a country wedding. Driver was ‘confirmed’ at 6pm for a midnight pick up but never showed up leaving 8 people stranded. When I called for a refund there was no apology or hint of sympathy. Useless company. Do not use.

We nearly missed our flight. Taxi was coming in 4 minutes then he wasn't coming anymore. 😒

It’s actually too bad 0 stars aren’t possible. Driver wanted us to walk 1/2 mile to meet him, communication with this company is nonexistent. Instead of texting, they call you, then call the driver, then call you back. This went on for 20 minutes when I could have simply grabbed a cab outside the train station. Driver finally shows up in an old mini-van, yells at us where to sit and the seatbelts don’t work. Do not use this service ever, unless you want to be sitting in an awful mini-van writing a bad review.

Appalling level of service.
I asked for confirmation 4 times over 24 hours as was at a wedding and the person on the phone reassured me they would try various taxi companies.
Then the company simply cancelled the taxis with only a couple of hours notice via email.
Awful company and total scam as others have said

Would give zero stars if possible. They cancelled a pre-booked taxi on the day of my trip, save yourself the stress and book elsewhere!
