Charles Trent Avis 

Had been looking for a headlight replacement for my Kia Sportage but there were so many variations and traders were not at all helpful in finding me an exact replacement, then I came across Trent’s and contacted them. The lovely lady I spoke to ( Nicola) steered me to the correct replacement with same OEM number and it was delivered the following day. Wow how good is that.
I would highly recommend “ Trent’s” great prices and service second to none. Many thanks and I now know where to go when needing a spare part. 5 stars

Very, very helpful when we were looking for an engine for my daughter’s car. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find one but the advice we got stopped us from making an expensive mistake. They didn’t have to do this, but they did and we are very grateful!

If you choose this company, I would recommend you send photos of the vehicle before you agree a price. I would also make sure you are there when collected as otherwise you leave it open for incorrect information to be given. We were quoted one price based on the age of the vehicle. We told them there were scratches on the vehicle, given it was 9 years old. We were told they couldn’t give us a time for collection so we left the documents with the garage to sign over, which now I wish we hadn’t have done. The original quote was decreased by £140 pound as we were told that on collection, there were dents. We sent of the RAC report which didn’t state dents at all, just scratches and were suddenly told the reduction was because there was flaky paint. We challenged this again due to the inconsistencies in information and were told that we were with the driver the whole time and didn’t have to accept the price. We never met the driver so another inconsistency/lie. I agree we can turn down the price and find someone else but after waiting a week for collection and paying storage, you’re not really left with many options as you’re already losing money. So lesson learned for next time. Take photos and make sure you’re there, although I wouldn’t go with this company again due to their inconsistencies in information, which I can see many others have also stated.

I was in need of a gearbox for my sons Polo , I spoke with Teagan on the phone who was extremely polite and helpful, informed me they had exactly what I needed at a good price , it was delivered the following day sooner than expected. Fitted at the weekend and is all sorted. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Today i had the pleasure of dealing with Teegan via the phone. Teegan was very helpful making sure i got the correct part for my car. she had do some research and so said she would call me back. to my shock she did actually called me back with great news that she had found my part i needed.

Haven't (until now) needed to deal with Charles Trent since the late 80s.
Refreshing to see them still there and still offering great service

Simple online service followed by a professional service when collecting the vehicle. Money in the account on the same day, at a higher rate than others quoted. Highly recommend if you have a non runner car you need to get rid of.

We recently purchased an engine for a Nissan x trail which was delivered on time to our specified garage for fitment. After the garage found that the engine was ‘faulty’, Trent immediately stepped up and were in communication to understand and try to rectify the issue. They collected our vehicle and spent time, energy and money to try and diagnose and rectify the issues! After a painstaking few weeks, it became apparent that the fitment from the garage was incorrect and causing issues. Out of goodwill, Trent funded and resolved the issue and of course we supplied a goodwill contribution back to support there efforts and financial loss!
A proper company with great communication, true professionalism and nice to have a business that supports others in the same trade!
Will definitely use again and recommend!

I needed a Fiesta rear light cluster. Found it on CT’s site. Rang CT in Poole to check understanding. Ordered. Part delivered to Rugby site. Picked up. Fitted perfectly.

Don't trust their quotes. They give a high price, then start to knock it down quoting their conditions. I went from agreed £365 to £250 the day before collection. Really not happy. Used twice before, no hassle, now new system were they knock down their quote. Cancelled and got another quote at £320.

Excellent service from start to finish. The car collection driver was very understanding. Customer service call handler Diarmid was exceptionally good in explaining the next step in the process of vehicle recycling and notification of dvla. I lost my V5c but was reassured by Diarmid who then went on to explain how I could notify DVLA about sale of the car. Overall brilliant service .

After spending so much money to fix my car I ended buying a whole engine from Charles trent, and after putting the engine on, they have defective injectors ( if you try to fix end it s doesn't work you lose warranty because you should not change anything in the engine) they suppose to be tested but how it s come they test them and the are defective and then after good luck with return all lose you lose even more money
Note that the Injectors and so many other things are not covered by the warrenty. So if they are defective you lose automatically
from my experience people should avoid and look for a company that offer real warranty not a scam warranty
a warranty that doesn't cover anything
And you can't expect any help they will ask you to returne the engine so after you pay huge amount of money to put them in good luck with money taking them again off and send them them back no labour nothing is coveres it s like scratch card if the engine is good you lucky if the engine are bad you are screwed
Can you please tell us in case there is a probleme with injectors what is the solution?
If I do try to fixe the injectors myself what gone happen to the warranty according to your term.and conditions?

Today I changed one tire and adjusted the traction. They messed up the steering wheel, it wasn't straight, the car was turning left, I complained, they accused me of being oversensitive, that I was wrong, ok, I asked them to set the steering wheel straight when adjusting the alignment, and then they adjusted it out of laziness, they tried to tell me that I was wrong. but the car went 50 meters to the left into a ditch, so I took a taxi and was carrying up to 4 people with children, so I didn't give up, I asked him to set it up correctly. Out of sheer malice, they unscrewed the nut from the shock absorber, saying that I was hypersensitive. They turned off the camera during these operations, so no. I have recordings, but just turning off the camera shows bad intentions
