Great products and service, I have to built my fly collection up against after loosing all my fly boxes, stollen from my car, easy website to use, great selection of flies in boxes and quick delivery, definitely will buy again from Troutflies soon!

This company is excellent. Very navigable website, good set of quality products, clear on delivery options and times, swift service and - having used several times - extremely reliable in my experience. Don't usually write reviews but credit where credit is due.

Amazing service from Troutflies UK. Ordered two boxes of barbless flies yesterday morning from their website and arrived by Royal Mail lunchtime today. Had a courtesy email from Dean to let me know they'd shipped. Obviously, not used any of the flies yet, but they look well tied and are exactly as described. Fantastic value for money too.

This is a great company and when you ring them up a human (and very pleasant one to boot) answers the 'phone and handles your query with friendly professionalism.
Truly a rare experience in this day and age and the type of business we all need to support.

Used Troutflies a few times now for flies,lines and a few other bits flies are of good quality yet to use the lines . Customer service is 5*

First time using them and the delivery was quick. Did have some small problems but was corrected ASAP will use them again

I've made 10 orders from Troutflies which included over 300 flies. Only one error, which was quickly rectified. Their staff work really hard to get the orders out very quickly. Many delivered within 2 days of ordering. 2 orders arrived the next day. The customer service is excellent.

Just like to say I have used Troutflies UK for all my tying gear 5 star rating is a under a estimated review should be 10 stars.
Dean and the team are always on hand !!! if they haven't got it as you can imagine keeping up with the Web is hard for stock You get a phone call from one of the staff to ask if you would like it on back order.

Amazing flies! The quality for the price is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and it's always worth the drive up from Blackburn.

Their quality control is sadly lacking as is understanding the benefit of keeping customers happy to gain repeat business. The MASSIVE variation in the material used to tie flies is substantial and rather than just replacing 6 defective flies in an order of over 80 flies, 'Becky' (support) made hard work of it, even insisting the flies would still float without much technical knowledge

Becky even tried to put the poor quality control down to a variance between tiers. No, it wasn't, it was a variance in the material selected, nothing to do with the tier much at all, but a lot to do with poor quality control.

What they should have done, having reviewed the photo's, is simply sent another few flies out, but nooo, they refunded for the faulty flies after arguing the point with them over many emails, but the refund doesn't even cover the cost of postage to buy the faulty flies!

Very much a case of snatching failure from the jaws of success.

There are easier more professional companies to deal with, but I don't think they understand this.

Yes Becky, you did refund for the flies, but when someone purchases a fly pack of 24 flies (8 black, 8 olive, 8 emerger) and 6 of the 8 olives are tied incorrectly, what you should do is send out 6 replacements, not try to foist your idea of a good tied fly on the customer. Your refund was inadequate and not what I needed. I only have two functional Olive flies, the other 6 'that you allowed me to keep' are useless. To replace these will cost more in postage than the flies themselves, which is exactly what you effectively tried to avoid. Despite your reply to the contrary, the flies are not up to standard, and the foam top hats are insufficient to keep them afloat with a line attached. Clearly, you are a long way off understanding customer satisfaction or how to retain customers. For the sake of replacing the flies you've lost a new client in an instant. Was digging your heels in worth it?

Was given the much touted intermediate fly line from Trout Flies. When on the bank s few days later, it was more of a floater than a sinker. Sent off an email and Becky responded with the same day. Was advised to return the line and hey presto, new line just arrived in my letter box. The emails have been supported and Becky has been understanding and helpful. Very impressed. A VERY happy customer, who will continue to use Trout Flies for all my fishing needs. Thanks Becky, 5 stars for you!!!

I’ve dealt with trout flies for a while now I can’t use the website for some while now but there was a deal on Boxing Day for a wychwood intermediate line but could not get in touch by phone so I rang at first opening day and told it’s gone to full price again I felt member of staff laughing at me whilst she was telling me I’m on a monthly order with troutflies for flies and feel I have spent a lot of money with you was going to renew my monthly with you but I’m afraid after todays experience you have lost a very loyal costumer
