We have done a lot of business with Trustico, but their understanding of client relationships is different from what we expected.
They cost us heaps of time and money, showed that they are not to be trusted, and we will never spend a penny with them ever again.
Shocking behaviour, shocking way to treat your customers. I hope they get their just desserts, and go bust.

Hi Bob, we're really sorry to hear this review. There's been a great deal of upset since the distrust of the Symantec SSL Certificates and their sub brands. We had to make some difficult decisions which affected many of our customers as they had distrusted SSL Certificates that needed to be cancelled. Leaked private keys... Bad, Bad, Bad
Leaked private keys to get a mass revocation of certificates filled to push customers to different cert providers. Storing private keys is a big no no. Bad Trustico, Bad.....

Hi David, unfortunately it sounds like you’ve been reading some false information on the net. There was a requirement that our company had to adhere too due to the distrust of the Symantec branded SSL Certificates by Google Chrome and other browsers.
There was definitely nothing kept in secret, you asked us to generate your private key and you could delete it via our control panel or by adhering to our privacy policy.
Your certificate was going to be revoked regardless, as per the requirements of the subscriber agreement, however DigiCert requested the private keys to facilitate that process (we didn’t simply compromise your private key purposely, that’s false information).
All of our customers are entitled to a free replacement of these distrusted SSL Certificates. All of our affected customers were advised in the preceding months about the issues with the distrusted Certificates and the requirement for them to be replaced.
If your missing these emails it may be a good idea to check your spam or contact your host to check if the emails were blocked. We are sorry for the hassle you’ve been caused, feel free to reach out to us if you’d like to discuss this further.

Website down and no help available
Due to my own staff, my website went down on a Sunday (SSL was not installed correctly). I really needed to contact someone at Trustico as it could be an easy fix. Yet on Sunday there is no one there. The help phone line has an automated answer but then no one comes. Just dead air.
So the website is down and this is bad. Where is the 24/7 support?
In fact I writing this review in the hope that someone gets back to me today.

Good... But...
Ordering the SSL certificate was easy!! Trying to get it installed in an IIS server was an absolute nightmare... The answer, badly formatted emails resulted in KEY bits of information being missed on the first, second and third readings!!
Its a shame as it was good until I hit issues, all of which could have been avoided if information was clearer in their communications.

Couldn't get the certificate to work as it wouldn't install on my server. I say certificate, because they don't send it to you like other companies.
Asked for a refund and they use every stalling excuse in the book.
The "offer" a 100% 7 day Guarantee that is complete and utter sham. I am still waiting! Diaboloical company and on my experience I would avoid like the plague. How they are allowed to operate in the UK is beyond me.
AVOID or you will probably regret it. Plenty of reliable SSL vendors out there - I went with Go Daddy and had my certificate within minutes, installed and up and running in a jiffy.

Installation very techinal
I tried to install a trial certificate. the installation steps were very hard to follow. IN the end I bought a SSL certificate off my webhost and they installed it for me.

Trustico sucks with its services and refund policy
Bullish service. Nothing is done in time. Waited for my SSL for about a month and had to make a refund. Now I'm waiting for a refund for about 2 months

All SSL Certificate orders are processed via automated and manual validation methods. Dependant on the product selection, your order may have required further organisational checks to be performed which may have delayed or extended the validation time period. Support staff are amazing, they knew what I wanted and gave it to me with a good price!
The support guys at Trustico understood where I was coming from and what my needs were. I didn't have to explain myself multiple times to different people even though my request was not a standard one. Simply refreshing experience, I will continue to handle all my certificate purchases through Trustico and will recommend them to our clients.

Very easy. I just do everything myself from their easy to use website and support emails.

I used their online step by step process on their website and found it to be easy to use and straight forward. They also emailed me appropriate documents and even followed up to make sure that I understood everything correctly. Any problem got solved within hours. Just brilliant.

Provide quality service but, very slow process!
I am not happy with the process, as i have paid for this service at a good price. But the matter of fact is that the SSL certificate is still pending after various calls to check on the process. If you can get back to me ASAP that would very much appreciated.
