UKCS Avis 

After a week of waiting for my order I got in touch. They tell me they've been trying to contact me (no calls received) to say the item is out of stock. Awful, unprofessional company, avoid at all costs.

Please do not use this company. They do not return calls and they blaming to other people Its day light robbery , honestly a waste of money and time.
They are very helpful at the beginning calling all the time once they get your money that's it no more contact or help.
I should not have to chase a company up
for a service they are suppose to provide to help people get back into work. Useless day light robbers.

Not sure if this company is trading website is still taking orders but I haven’t received any goods would recommend using another site

Ordered goods on 29 April. Arrived damaged and missing pieces on 9 May. UKCS were quick to respond and said they would investigate and send 6 replacements. On 21 May still awaiting missing pieces. 3 weeks is a long time and not a good result. They use Evri which have a poor experience record.

C,V & Cover letter
I was a bit curious about the interview I had with their consultant Barry until I saw the results he produced for my c.v & cover letter. It was dynamic and I wasn't sure I recognised the description of my professional profile! I showed it to another recruiter who was very impressed. I now apply for roles with much more confidence! Thank you, I would recommend UKCS.

Cover letter and LinkedIn review exactly the same as the CV. Not had 1 reply from the agencies on the distribution list. A complete rip-off - DON'T PART WITH YOUR CASH

Was initially sceptical around paying money for somebody to compile my CV, however after a 40 minute telephone interview with Barry I was very happy with the outcome. The 2 page CV and covering letter he compiled were first class and reading through my CV it was as though he’d known me for some 2-3 years!

I wasn’t sure about paying for a CV to be written, but I wasn’t getting much from the one I wrote. It was good to hear someone else asking about my career, which helped to sort everything in my mind.
The CV was a definite improvement, and had all the additional stuff I had overlooked before.
And the response was much more encouraging. It gave me the confidence to apply for better roles, and after a couple of interviews that didn’t go anywhere. I now have a new job and things are moving forward in the right direction.

A good service. Andy worked closely with me to develop a cv that enabled me to get a job in just 6 weeks despite being 55!

Their package price is a good one, no doubt about it. I decided to buy me a Christmas present - a possible better chance to get a new job, and went ahead with a purchase. I did not like the CV they created but thought it might be me being old fashioned and decided to give it a chance. After I completed all their back-covering paperwork and gave them the green light to send it, the CV ended up at at least 2 companies I did not want it to go to. The distribution list I received from them was chaotic, it seemed they just throw any email addresses they could find.
At this point I thought I'd limit the possible damage. I went ahead and told them I no longer want to use their services and want to be reimbursed for the work they were supposed to but did not perform. The response was, I quote:

"The sources we use for the email addresses is supposed to be recruitment consultancies only, and we will need to address this issue with them.
The packages we put together are not based on individual costs per element, and you will note that the package established is different to the sample from the website, as we look to match elements to need."

Basically this translates: you pay the good money and we do whatever we want to.

They did return a good part of the money after I pushed for it - I was, and still am ready to go to Small Claims Court.
I see they claim they changed their processes under another negative review here, I quote:
"We also admit that there were some recruiters included in the exercise that were outside your target area, which is why we have significantly adjusted our processes since then."
The quote is from 9 Jan 19, and my contact with them that I quote above was on 4 Jan. It does not seem very likely that they did a major change between 5 and 8 Jan (5 and 6 being the weekend), does it?
I was a little bit nervous of the fact that they own a software that would allow them to send emails on my behalf. Do you know that they do not have a privacy policy posted on their web site? Have you found any data protection commitments anywhere in their web site or the purchase confirmation email they send?

Added to that I sent the CV to a recruiter I know and trust and she made very significant changes in the document. For no money.

Avoid at all cost. Anyone can do a better job than these guys. It's waste of time, waste of money and also waste of nerves.
