In February last year, we hired J&V Renovations LTD for a loft extension and a complete renovation of our home, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the result.

J&V Renovations LTD carried out extensive loft and rear extension improvements on our house. The work was completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard of finish. The firm were easy to work with and i was able to meet with the team regularly during the work. Issues were rapidly and satisfactorily resolved at all times. The entire team was invariably accommodating and courteous and i would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone having similar work done.

Terrible work - same as other review…electrics were wired dangerously, plumbing leaks, damage left…absolute cowboys

Avoid this company at all costs. We have been in the house for 6 months now and had multiple issues due to poor work. The electrical work they have done is dangerous and we are lucky there have been no series consequences as a result. We are left feeling unsafe and uneasy in the house because of their work.

Whatever you do...do not use this company for any work.

Issues:
- They cut the main power supply to the house while installing tiles and covered it up with electrical tape and foam tubing. Only discovered when we brought in another electrician to fix the EV charger that JV installed incorrectly (did not connect the CT Clamp which came with the charger so it was only charging at 1/2 speeds). UK Power told us we were lucky the power supply hasn't burnt the house down because of this
- Multiple other issues with the electrics throughout the house
- Leaks in roofing at the front of the house, in the rear extension and on the dormer roof...so every roof they worked on has leaked. Interior is now damaged as a result
- Windows and doors not installed correctly...no attempt to heal & toe any external window and door so they did not open/close properly
- After they installed the windows they made no attempt to protect the glass resulting in chips/scratches and paint stains everywhere
- Leaks from the shower tray because they did not seal it properly which has damaged the below ceiling. They sealed the parts you could see but anything out of sight was left unsealed

We flagged the issues to Adriano and he sent his daughter, who was fresh out of school and has no building experience, round to inspect. She was more interested in taking pictures of the furnished house for their social media profiles. Adriano has subsequently said that any issue found after we moved in is not his problem. Quite frankly, I wouldn't want him to fix anything because the work already done is shocking.

Towards the end of the project he behaved very unprofessionally and was aggressive to me and other tradesmen - in one instance chasing another tradesman from the property over a disagreement. There was no H&S in place and they chose to burn waste in the garden rather than get a new skip once full.

Please do not use this company. Since saying it is not their problem they have been silent. I am looking at legal options now.
