Great service and cheap quality products!
We first went to this store after shopping around so much online at otherstores. Then we came across this gem.
When we went to the store we weren't bombarded with help but we werr initially given space to browse before being approached. Exactly how I like.
We found a carpet we liked, we got the deal and got it installed when we needed it.
Great experience all around from management to staff. 😊

Friendly service but outcome upsetting
Update:
I contacted via email as the response to this review told me to.
I Haven’t heard anything back, I sent photos and explained the situation and have had no reply.
I can’t fault the customer service when in store. Very helpful, friendly and listened to what I wanted.
The fitters fitted most of the carpet on the Tuesday but needed to come back the next day to finish off. No problem, but that then turned into the following day.
On that day I received a phone call that informed me that the carpet had been ordered incorrectly and was short. They didn’t have anymore of the carpet I ordered, but had one that looked the same but was actually thicker and they can fit that the next day.
I needed it fitted promptly as we need to move in so said ok. I went the following day to find a carpet that is noticeably different. This is really frustrating when I ordered the same carpet through the entire house. Not only is it different, it’s a different tone, blue grey toned rather than the warmer tone in the rest of the house. It looks really weird with the decoration/ furniture and it’s really upsetting after spending just shy of £2000.
I wasn’t there during the fitting and after visiting I’ve found the flooring in the kitchen has been damaged where they had left the doors after taking them off so I now have ripped flooring in my kitchen and a non matching carpet in the living room.
Not really what I was hoping for when moving into our new home.

Absolutely no pressure
I went to have a look when I was ready asked an assistant for help he help me through the options and gave me a price I wasn't quite ready so he gave me a quote no pressure to purchase at all went home thought about it went back purchased carpet underlay and fittings the lads came absolutely brilliant really happy

Value carpets underlay expensive and don't like the idea that it says fitted free but had to pay fitters when they came to fit so that means not fitted free, but due to a mistake on my behalf they did come back the next day and fit proper carpet

Regarding the fitting, the cost of the fitting would have been deducted from the total cost of your order in store if you purchased the same size underlay. The fitters are independent fitters and are paid directly at the point of fitting. But the cost has already been deducted from your charge in store.
If you have any queries or would like to double check your order the store will be happy to do this for you.

Might not be able to get what they purchased
Unable to get the mattress I ordered was out of stock but needed the mattress for guests so was replaced with a higher quality one as a good will gesture at no extra cost so very pleased

Very helpful in branch converting our measurements over for the correct size. Gave all the information around delivery and how much fitting would cost.
When the guys came to lay my lino they did a fantastic job for the price of £40.
I would definitely use united carpets again in the future.

Absolutely awful young kid who answers the phone doesn’t have a clue and cannot answer any questions. We were promised our carpet would be in stock and fitted within a week we waited 4 weeks for half of it to be done now we are on the 6th week of waiting for the landing to be done. if you want a new carpet without waiting 6 weeks do not use this company!!! They tell you anything to make you buy it !!! staff are not the most polite over the phone either
