Last week I called in to United Carpets…
Last week I called in to United Carpets Dudley to view some carpets for my bedroom. I was met with a very friendly sales person called Darren. Having explained what I was after Darren showed me the area of carpet I should be looking at and was then left in peace to wander at my leisure. I was in no way pestered or bothered by any sales people (which I liked very much) until I asked for help. Darren was very helpful, explained which underlay was most suitable for the carpet I had chosen, and bearing in mind that I am an amputee wheelchair user, which underlay would be better for the wheelchair use.
I also needed a rug made to my special dimensions which would have to be sent away to have the edges bound and secured. Ismail, the manager, explained what I could have and I chose the carpet to be made into a rug for my lounge and Ismail took care of the rest for me.
The bedroom carpet was fitted yesterday by a very pleasant gentleman called Chris. Chris made the fitting experience much easier for me by his helpfulness with the bed moving and his pleasant attitude. The carpet is now down and looks great. There was no mess to clear up and the whole experience from the purchasing, from the booking a fitting date, to the actual fitting was much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you guys.
I am now looking forward to my lounge rug to be delivered which will be on Monday coming.
I would like to thank Ismail and his staff for the very helpful way they looked after me and made choosing my carpets much more pleasant than I was expecting it to be.

Wrexham branch above and beyond
Wrexham branch what can i say other than ten out of ten,from start to end they have always come up trumps,fantastic store staff who care about your needs and aim to fulfill them,from measuring,estimates and great quality products,had bedroom carpets fitted excellent quality,fitted a large conservatory today with high quality vinyl and waiting for stairs to be done now with stair runner. The fitters are the most nicest guys and helpful. Highly recommend.

Carpet fitters came on time. Moved furniture and wouldn't let me move a thing. Cleaned up after them. Was very polite. Will be using them again for my bathroom, hallway and 2 bedrooms real soon

Great Service, as usual.
Always our first port of call for flooring. Knowledgeable staff in store who are there when you need them but happy to let you browse. We chose a carpet that needed to be shipped from abroad. It arrived within the time stated and Liam, our fitter, did a brilliant job, arriving super early after sending a message. Well and truly happy with the whole experience and will no doubt be visiting again in the future. Thanks to everyone involved. Can't remember exactly when ordered.

Poor customer service
We ordered a few packs of laminate flooring and it was all bent, so we contacted the store and found it difficult to get a refund. We did get our money back but you could tell they didn’t want to refund it. Some of the staff there are not helpful at all. We’ve had many carpets and laminate from there over the years without any problems, so we were surprised to find the flooring wasn’t right. A couple off days after we got a refund we received a call from the manager saying there were 4 planks missing from a pack and they needed them back of they couldn’t claim for them. They had been cut by the fitter but we still had them. In our opinion he was trying to be awkward about it and he asked for them to be left outside our property and he would collect them! He never did collect them. We’ll never deal with United Carpets & Beds again, absolutely awful customer care. It’s a shame, they used to have lovely staff there too.

Experience was okay
Experience was okay, carpet is lovely quality. The man was here fitting for approx 6/7 hours (2 bedrooms and stairs) and unfortunately left marks on some of the walls. The wrong colour door bars were fitted too but it was really hot that day so didn’t make much bother. Fitter was lovely though and in store service was good too.
