If you are willing to go through the pain of doing the packing and inventory yourself, then I can only recommend using VanOne for the rest of the moving process. We used them to move to southern Europe from the UK, and everything went according to plan. The communication with the company was excellent, the driver arrived on time and the process of clearing customs was 100% smooth. You will need to prepare the right documentation for the customs in advance, but we received very good support from the company in this respect. Our driver was very kind and helpful. The door-to-door service makes the process very reliable. The driving part is contracted out to other companies (at least it was in our case), but coordination seems to have been excellent.

VanOne moved my stuff from Italy to London, and everything was great. I never had a problem speaking to customer service and the help Lennart provided was impeccable. We used VanOne to move from the UK to Switzerland and we would not use them again.

The logistics manager relied on us to contact the driver to understand the customs delays and proceedings so we became the middle man. Communication between the driver and logistics manager was totally lacking clarity. To note: they use third party drivers in unmarked vans, not their own vans as advertised.

We ended up driving to 3 different customs locations, not including the initial border crossing point, with the driver to sort out the issue ourselves with little to no support from VanOne. VanOne had not provided us with the correct customs form and was hard to get hold of/slow to respond when it was urgent. Their customs agent was also not present for any of this so we had to play detective with all the different information being given to us. We also ended up having to pay VAT.

The saving grace was a very nice and patient driver who helped us as best as he could despite being new to the job. We may have 'saved' money but it was not worth it and I would never use this company again.

The company was really helpful as we had few issues with the paperwork. Everything arrived safe and on time at destination. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed with the service I received from VanOne. They have been available to me at every step of the process, which really helped to alleviate the anxiety that an international relocation can come with! Not only did they provide me with a reliable, affordable and friendly service, but they were also really happy to work with me in ensuring that the delivery was only made at a time that I could arrange someone to be at home. The online tracking of the van's progress was unfortunately not working, but Lennart kept me updated verbally so that I knew where my things were. My driver was Mitdo and he was so friendly and professional, I felt entirely assured that my possessions would be safe with him. Every step of this process was excellent, and I am really pleased with the experience I had. I recommend VanOne very highly!

We used VanOne to move my elderly brother's belongings from Bergamo, Italy to the UK.

We chose VanOne for their door to door service, meaning the goods stayed in one van and there was less chance of breakage due to loading and unloading multiple times.

From the time I first contacted VanOne Natasha has been very prompt replying to multiple queries, and was able to accommodate all our needs.

The van arrived on time for both pick up and delivery, with a courteous driver.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

VanOne were by far the most reasonable quote we received to move our stuff from the UK to France. As a result we were initially a bit wary. However, the communication ahead of the move was excellent - fast, knowledgable and helpful responses. Then the driver (Mihail) was awesome. Such a nice man, couldn't have been more helpful. And the stuff arrived on time without any hitches. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I do not recommend this company at all and would never use them again. Initially, I was very happy dealing with Lennart and Michael.. however, when the driver arrived with our items, it turned into a terrible experience. He was rude, grumpy and totally indifferent to the damage to our furniture caused by the terrible way he loaded the van. He even had the nerve to say it was already damaged before, when it was very clear how the damage was done (see pic). The only work he did was moving things to the edge of the van for my wife & I to lift off and carry up two flights of stairs (taking over 5 hours). I also spoke to the two men we hired in Switzerland to help the driver and they also confirmed the only thing he did was position items in the van and not actually help load at all. The issue being that he was extremely overweight and just not able to. I suspect that Vanone has few, if any, of their own drivers and outsource most, if not all, of the jobs. Therefore, it is a total lottery which kind of driver you’ll get or what kind of experience you’ll have.

If you're looking for a removal company that goes above and beyond, look no further than VANONE We recently used their services for our move from Plovdiv, Bulgaria to Siedlce, Poland, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the very beginning, Vanone impressed us. Their communication was excellent. They clearly explained the entire process, from the initial quote to the final delivery, and were always available to answer our questions.

We have used VanOne to move 12cbm of furniture and boxes from Denmark to Italy. Excellent service and communication, especially by the logistic manager Lennart.
Reaction time to our questions was fast and the pick-up and delivery was punctual. Price/performance ratio unbeatable.
We can higly recommend VanOne and we will definetly use it again for the next transport.

I contracted this company due to their low cost despite a number of bad reviews.

The process was straightforward however there were a number of requests for additional documentation for customs clearance over and above what is advertised.
As a company that boasts frequent removals between the UK and Spain I would expect them to know beforehand exactly which documentation is required and to advertise it clearly before any deposits are paid.

After all my documentation was pre-cleared by customs my van and driver were assigned and the driver arrived at the date and time I was told.
The driver was friendly and helpful although did not speak much English so we just got on with it and got the van loaded.

The tracking system in the customer portal was not working due to technical issues, however Lennart from logistics was very helpful and provided updates when requested very promptly.

At the other end in Spain, the driver arrived about an hour ahead of schedule on the date I was told - this was not an issue for me as I understood the requirement for flexibility and I had taken the day off work.
My items arrived undamaged and in the same condition as they left.

All in all a pleasant experience but would have been better with a more comprehensive list of documentation required and a working vehicle tracker.

Deposit Scammers. Do not use them. Their Logistics Manager Lennart thinks that he owns the world and patronises customers as they are his slaves. He is ignorant and not helpful, made our experience horrible and had to cancel as we couldn't get an answer if we could change something on the inventory 4 days prior collection and when we decided to cancel then he was like yes it is possible even on the collection time, funny enough. After his bad behaviour all week stressing us out with last minute emails and asking paperwork after paperwork, not even able to list down what he needs properly, we had to cancel the whole shebang. He technically delegated the stress what he had from the customs agents to the customer. They did not give back the deposit only 20 % of it even so the service we received was out of order. I could go on with my experience. Moving as itself is already stressful enough. IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND DO NOT USE THEM JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE SLIGHTLY CHEAPER. Take my advice, you won't regret it.

They were very supportive from day one, and helpful when it came to know which documents to present (be advised that post Brexit the process is insane and the amount of documents required is incredible).
Prices are reasonable and delivery was quick.
I strongly recommend VANONE.

Booking the removal service (from IE to UK) was simple, and the payment process etc was smooth. My issues arose on the day of the service:

1) I paid for the higher-tier service, which included a guaranteed and bespoke collection/drop off time. On the day of the removals, I was informed that the collection would be over 4 hours late.

2) I paid for (and confirmed in writing before removal date) that I was paying for the removals personnel to physically move my goods from my apartment to the van and from the van to the apartment at destination. The driver refused to do this on the day of delivery.

As I had not received the service I had paid for, I asked for a partial refund - after 3 weeks, Van One finally responded and refused any partial refund with no explanations.

Overall - a terrible service.

VanOne has made my move from the UK to The Netherlands an absolute breeze. Ordering was easy, my driver Bartosz was on time, very friendly and helped me with the loading.

One day later the van arrived with all my stuff safely packed and once again he helped me unload the goods. I would recommend VanOne to anyone!
