Via Holiday sold us a package with flights by Ryanair to Prague. Repeated attempts to process the login with Ryanair with an email and a login ID both supplied by Via Holiday met with: ' not required' on the login site. Via Holiday state on the documentation that they are: 'registered' with Ryanair. Unfortunately this was not the case and resulted in our having to go to the check-in to be told: 'You have not 'checked in online'. We explained we could not because the flight was booked by an OTA. Ryanair at Manchester airport charged us £55 each for the check at the desk (after a 20minute wait in a queue served by only two people). On the return we were charged 65euros for the same reason. Neither the email nor the login ID were recognised. Two phone calls to Via Holiday met with the phone being slammed down and the second ' email just email. Now after using their parent company Golden Dust's email contact it is now: No longer in use! I now have to resort to sending a letter to the parent company for some redress!

My daughter & friends purchased a wowcher to go to Portuga to celebrate finishing college, paid in full nearly £800 for the four of them, when they were contacted by the crooks from VIA HOLIDAYS they were told the hotel, airport or dates were not available & would have to pay £50 extra each to transfer the voucher to a holiday destination they didn’t want from an airport they didn’t want to a hotel they didn’t want, now we can get a refund from anyone!!! Absolute con artists!!! When you call the telephone number on the website, the your asked which company you want to speak to, when you say VIA HOLIDAYS they say they have no connection with that company, I suggested they may need to contact VIA HOLIDAYS to get it taken off their website but the lady in the phone said “yes, maybe” must think people are stupid!!!

Used this company after buying a voucher from Groupon, when we arrived at our Hotel in Barcelona we were told our reservation had been cancelled! Subsequently we had to pay for our two nights again at the Hotel.As in other reviews the communication is scant, am still waiting for a reply and refund after sending details of paying Hotel, our stay was on 17 th to 19 th December. I will add that the Groupon customer service have been very helpful.

If you value your sanity, your holiday and your money, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Where do I start. Trip booked in June,for holiday in December no travel docs or flight docs by the end of October Chased these for over a week, before they had the decency to contact me. They told me they had sent documents months ago. The forwarded email, suggested otherwise. We paid extra to get the flights we wanted. When I check these details, the flights have been changed, meaning that we lose a day of our holiday and would need to leave the hotel at around 4am, to catch our flight. Contact via holidays again, only to find out they were given this information in August! and hadn't passed this on. Had they told us straight away we could have changed the flights free of charge. Because they didn't, if we want to change the flights, we have to pay more, yet again. Asked via holidays to deal with this. Of course, this request has been ignored. Absolutely the worst experience with a holiday company by far. If you read other reviews, you will find countless other similar experiences. You have been warned

If I could I would leave zero rating! I purchased a skiing holiday to andorra. A week before travelling I checked the weather in andorra and it's no snow at that time of year. I'm not an avid flyer and do not know when and where it snows. My son also is very well and cannot travel. I tried to cancel the holiday to be told "you cannot cancel as it was a non refundable purchase" I said that's fine, I'll try and go through the insurance so I don't need a refund from you as its non refundable. I had to say this more than 3 times as the lady on the phone did not listen or understand even though it was preety self explanatory. Sharon seems to be a self working "agent" and sorry she fobbed me off more times than I'd like to admit! They are not professional, helpful or honest. It's been a terrible ordeal from start to finish.
Firstly upon purchasing Sharon tried to book our skiing holiday (purchased for 2 nights) arriving late Sunday night 3 hours from our hotel, so would be getting there gone 1am that was our first night gone, then returning 5am the day after so that's much less than 40 hours. When I questioned it Sharon said well there's another flight that will return later on the Tuesday but it's an extra £195 or you can have the first one. I explained that you are breaking your terms and conditions. Sharon didn't care at all to be honest, she said well what you've purchased doesn't cover the other time and the first one is the only option unless you pay more. So stupidly I paid more as I wanted to take my children away.
When I checked the weather and the lack of snow and phoned Sharon and asked for her to cancel she replied with "I've done nothing wrong, I sold you a ski resort not a ski holiday" then told me after 30 mins of explaining I need her to cancel the holiday as I need confirmation to send to my insurance. She said she would and call back in 2 hours. She didn't. I called again she said she'd send me an email confirmation showing she's cancelled the holiday, she didnt. I called her back and a man answered and said he'll get her to call me back. She didn't. I called again and asked her then she refused to cancel again, obviously not tried in the first place. I've spoke to her more in this last month than I've spoken to some family members! She's lied so many times also just to get me off the phone. She's said that she can't cancel the holiday as its in my name, but when I checked she booked and only she could cancel the holiday. I was back and forth so much that now I'm a day before our holiday and it cannot be cancelled now if it was done when I had asked at the first instance we would've had some money back or even a change of flight offered.
I will never use wowcher again and definitely NEVER use Via holiday. It's awful how they are targeting families with little income trying to get a deal to actually take thoer children away. I cannot warn people off enough, stay away and save a little more to use a reputable company. Disgusting people, unprofessional, dishonest, liars and fraudulent mis-selling.
Complete farce of a company!

Appalled by lack of customer service, these guys are scammers. We paid for our trip and the airport transfer failed to collect is. We called them to report straight away and ended up paying for a taxi to our hotel. We sent all evidence to Via holidays and followed up daily for 3 months. It became clear they were not going to refund the transfer fee. They are liars and scammers. Please stop these kind of scammers

Brought a voucher her from wowcher over 2 years ago for 2 people to Krakow.
Holiday was booked and cancelled coz of covid and I am still unable to re book.
There customer care is terrible, no replies to your emails and when you speak to someone they advise you someone will call you back and never do!!,
Wowcher have no interest in helping me and this company will not give me my money back.

Do not use! Totally scammers! I purchased a ticket on wowcher, who also do not take any responsibility for their action, even selling their services when you can find everyhwere their negative feedbacks! I purchased lake garda hotel and flight on wowcher and they booked me a different hotel and location for which I didn't agree for, sent dozens of emails and no response, Totaly waste of time money! Do not use!

Worst company ever, had bought a city break on Groupon in 2019 and booked for 2020, sadly 2020 shut everything down so was given an extension, booked in 2022 for March 2023, German security at airports go on strike, via decides its the airlines job to get a refund for everything, hotel etc as non refundable apparently, and won't send us any info. Definitely won't use this company again as done us out of £600 for the original voucher plus an extra £200 for flights and better hotel apparently

Zero star avoid - seen deal on Groupon, no answer Irish number listed to book, English number told trip available as advertised however then when down to booking - no available flights gone up etc. Then looking an extra 280 per person told just the flights suddenly up & extras extra extra wanted. You name it. Operators English not great either- terrible experience. Contacted Groupon got full refund & took control of booking a trip myself which transparent prices & know booked without errors or hidden surprises. 100% AVOID.

As others have mentioned they said we don't have any flight from Gatwick left but for an added £45 pp we can get you on a flight...from Gatwick??
Then we got sent to the wrong hotel 30km away at a cost of 200 euro.On phoning them they booked the right hotel.I am now in the process of complaining but won't hold my breath for a refund and Groupon don't want to know.

If I could rate zero stars I absolutely would. Diabolical excuse for company, which I'm sure is not legitimate in any way shape or form.

I booked a 2 night break to Budapest through Wowcher (I have booked various breaks through Wowcher before and always had a good experience). I redeemed my vouchers immediately and was informed the company (ViaHoliday) would be in touch within 48 hours to confirm my booking and provide me with further information.

Over 1 week later I had heard nothing, so I got in touch with Wowcher to ask what to do. They informed me the company would definitely be in touch within 48 hours. I then got a call from "Evan" at ViaHoliday the day after, which I missed. When I rang back, I spoke to a woman who was absolutely useless and extremely unhelpful. She refused to help me as "Evan had all the details, and he was not available". Evan then rang me back that evening, and proceeded to inform me that my break wasn't actually available, and I could either rebook for this time next year, or go to Milan instead at an extra charge. I explained I hadn't booked to go to Milan, I booked Budapest (which was actually a christmas present for my other half), however he just replied with "there's nothing I can do about that". I have since put a complaint in with Wowcher which I am awaiting the resolution of, although judging by the reviews on here it looks unlikely I will be getting any money back.

Watch out for this company - if you can avoid them please do.

Just back from a Groupon break to Krakow, bought 2 years ago and postponed twice due to covid, but they booked in more passengers for me as more family wanted to come, they even said they would find us good flying times so that we had the full 3 days there and it was all straightforward, hotel was lovely and for the trips out which was in the price we were picked up by private luxury taxi, I have to admit I was worried after reading some reviews but I have no complaints.

This company is an absolute disgrace. I bought a holiday via LivingSocial. Absolute scam of a company, no response to any emails... Even though I have emailed every day for 3 weeks. £307 stolen from this company.. VILE.. PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!!!
