Video Proficient Avis 54

This company did not send me an invoice or receipt for this transaction even after multiple attempts of the request. We paid them a total of ($500+$195) which was what they had told us to pay for the service. What we were told is that we would be getting a 30 second 3D video for $695.
This company has not been responding to my emails or messages via their dashboard (files available). When we spoke to an agent from weanimators/Video Proficient which is the company that is taking payments via, they initially assured us that our product (Video rendering of a computer generated image) would be ready in 2-4 weeks from the day we made the transaction. After 8 weeks, we have not received our video. What strikes us the most is when we called the company, they asked us that the video was now going to cost more. We are now taking this as a fraudulent company and require our money back.

This is a fraudulent company. I was promised a website delivered to me in three weeks. I paid them $10,000 for a functioning website and two years later I received a non functional piece of crap that I can’t use. Do not trust these scam artists. You will regret your decision. Horrible experience.

Horrible experience... I spoke with many people from India with the same name, and still have nothing... I hired them to make a video, and it was promised in 5-7 days... Here we are over a month in, and I have nothing... I have tried calling but they always seem to be having "technical issues"... I gave m graphic designer the concept today, and 2 hours later I had a full storyboard ready for animation... I gave her the EXACT same concept page that I gave them... WORTHLESS COMPANY HIDING IN INDIA

We did few cartoon videos which came out very professional. Zach was very helpful and fast. Thank you !

I have worked with almost a hundred vendors throughout my career, and I can say with utmost confidence that Video Proficient is absolutely the worst company I've ever worked with. I will share a number of examples to support my claim, striving to be honest in both the vast negatives as well as limited positives.

NEGATIVE

- Horrendous Professionalism

-- Deceitful
Almost everyone I worked with at VP was deceitful. For starters, the entire team is clearly based in India and uses American-ized names to blend in. When I asked them if they were based in India, they told me that they were all Hispanic.

Additionally, VP always tried upselling me on additional services and would go back on their word. For example, I was originally told that VP would hold onto all of my raw files even after work concluded, indefinitely. The following day, I received a call saying that my raw data would only be around for an additional week until I paid a few hundred dollars. It was clear that my account manager would debrief with his team each day, and they would advise him to revert back and try to milk me for each dollar.

The most egregious offense came towards the end of my project. The original salesperson I spoke to start my contract gave me his name. A few months into my project, I called their mainline and spoke to someone else. I asked to speak to the original seller again and he proceeded to transfer me to someone else; this phone tag continued for another five minutes; it was clear that he was buying time to get someone on the phone. It eventually came to the original seller I spoke to months back, and he had the same voice as the person whom I spoke to earlier that day! I asked him why they sounded alike and he said: "oh, we're brothers." After this conversation, I received a call from someone claiming to be VP's Chief Financial Officer, but it was clearly the original seller pretending with a fake voice! I seriously couldn't believe that these guys were serious.

--Rude
I was on a call with their Head of Design or something similar and made a comment about being upsold constantly. This individual got incredibly offended and HUNG UP ON ME. I don't care which country you operate in, no one ever hangs up on a customer. Again, I couldn't believe this was happening.

--Upselling
I mentioned this before, but these guys will try to upsell you on EVERYTHING. I started my contract paying X, and ended up having paid out 3X. I felt like I was a sucker the entire time, but it is what it is.

POSITIVE

-Quality
At the end of the day, the quality of the work was on-point. I can't lie and say that I didn't get what I wanted, BUT, I would never work with these guys again given all the headaches. You should never feel like you're walking on pins and needles with a vendor, and I felt that the entire time.

SUMMARY
VP needs to be put of out business. It's an absolute mockery of what business professionalism looks like.

I like there immediate response and their attention to detail.

I will give them another good rating if my project is done with good accuracy.

Video Proficient was very eager to work with CLC Engineering in creating a 3D video for a substation design CLC produced in Inventor. Jeffrey Williams was always very pleasant and helpful; they worked with us to get the desired aspects and the necessary changes. As this was our first attempt with getting this type of production, we learned a lot. If we have another opportunity, it would be nice to work with them again.

The 3D video is posted on LinkedIn (12/11/19) on CLC Engineering's profile if someone would like to see the finished product.

My experience with Video Proficient had been an excellent one.

I loved their iterative process and steps to get the Storyboard, Voiceover, animation and script done to my satisfaction.

They were patient and applied all my changes at each step until it was all done to perfection and to my satisfaction.

I primarily dealt with Jeff Williams & Orlando Evans . Both were professional and cared about executing on time and with excellent quality.

It was an amazing experience where you have visibility into each step progress as it happens and can change anything you did not like.

I am proud of the result and their video will definitely bring more traction from clients on my new start up site

The process was very smooth once we got the script written. The team was very responsive to all the changes we
requested in a very timely manner, even over the holidays. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product.

Video Proficient produced a video for my company late last year. The initial deliverables were horrible and the end result was satisfactory but required multiple rounds of revisions and lots of time invested by us. Towards the end of the project Video Proficient tried to shake me down for another $500 in order for me to obtain "copyrights" to use my video - they claimed that it can be used for internal purposes only and if I want to use it for marketing I have to pay for copyright! How absurd is that! Then before they delivered the final video they tried to pressure me to post a 5 star review!! Only after I told them that if they force me to post a review it will not be 5 stars they agreed to deliver the final video. All this in documented in email chains with them!!
Recently, more than 9 months after the project ended, I noticed thousands of dollars that they have charged to my credit card in the last couple of months for no reason!!! The projected ended and was paid in full 9 months ago!!
Stay away from them like the plague!!!

Wonderful team to work with

I really enjoyed the experience working with everyone on the VideoProficient team. They made it easy to work through each stage and was very patient as I slowly worked through just what we wanted. The real proof is in the final output. Exactly what we ordered and wanted!

They were easy to work with and had a great response time. They were willing to take all feedback and turn it around quickly.
