Virgin likes to keep the money in people's accounts so it gets spent back on site.

Lies and poor customer service.
Loved Virgin Bet for years but last year they randomly suspended my account for no reason. It was a hassle to get it back (generally only bet on local football team).
Last couple of times I cant withdraw. They insist it is my bank, however my bank still allows deposits and also insists they are not rejecting any withdrawals (why would they not want the money back).
Spoke to virgin again who insists it is my bank and a issue purely my side. However, my partner banks with a completely different bank and guess what, she has the same issue.
Stupidly I went and used my winnings that I couldnt withdraw on betting on the football. So guess what, Virgins tactics stopping you withdraw works!!!
Myself and partner have again both one on free offers and the money shows withdrawn and then shows back into the account seconds later.
The bank confirm there is no attempt or decline their end.

Virginbets have blocked my account for nearly a year now after I tried to withdraw some money; I have written to their head office twice which according to their website is based in Gibraltar but none was delivered and my letters were retuned as address not found, I tried trading standards but legally I couldn't do anything as the company is registered abroad which shows their intention. I think this operation has been set up to embezzle money from people.

What a terrible way to run a bookmakers .
I joined as a 75 yrold about 4 months ago . I signed up for the free bet promotion and won and I won a few other free bets that they had sent me. My wins were pure luck and amounted to about 200 pounds .
They aske me to confirm my identity by photograph which I did do and passed the security .The very next day they said I could not place any more bets and would not give me the reason why. I can only believe the reason to be I had won more then I lost as they wrote to me saying I could not place any morte bets but the good news was I could play casino if I liked .
Disgusting that they thought I would be silly enough to place my winnings on a computer spinning wheel.
After 50 yrs of having small bets I have never known anything like it .
