Warman Guitars Avis 

I recently bought a reissue Epiphone Coronet and was pleasantly surprised at the build quality. As a devoted fan of Warman pickups, I decided to spice things up a bit and fit a Dogs'o'War single dogear P90 to my Coronet. Wow, what a transformation! Think Leslie West at his finest using a Les Paul Junior. You can go from a whisper to a howling dog with a range of awesome sounds in between! If you love P90 Juniors, then this is the bad boy for you.

I have played guitar for over 30 years, & spent money on pickups from every single brand, & thought I was 'a knowledgable consumer'.

I wasn't. I one day discovered Warman Guitar's pickups as a second-hand pickup, & the end result was I felt stupid, & someone who was too busy buying into marketing hype.

Warman's pickups are as good as or better than ANY 'well known' brand name pickups out there, with their Destroyer humbucker now being my sole go-to choice for every single humbucker-loaded guitar build/acquisition I make.

Josi is dedicated to making brilliant, high-quality & more importantly, NOT marketing-pricing-inflated pickups that deliver consistently, perform great & with amazing customer service, as well as super helpful suggestions & recommendations (Destroyer Bridge with the HBP90 neck for example .... this for example, is everything I never realised I actually needed!!!).

Their Destroyer humbucker pickup is the ONLY Humbucker model I will ever buy again for my bridge positions .... this pickup's name is easily deceptive as a pure hardcore metal pickup, but its versatility is nothing short of astonishing, & under roll-off cleans up so bloody well - which its output classification belies.

If you're not considering Warman's pickups in your guitar, you're honestly 'doing it wrong' as a guitar player & consumer ....

Been using Warman guitar strings for a couple of years now and wouldn't use anything else. Great tone, stretch in good and play lovely. At only £13 for a set of 3 a great price as well.
Very friendly people and quick to post out. Give them a try 10 - 46 is my preferred gauge. 10 out of 10.

I found out about Warman guitar pickups online on one of the selling websites, watched a few video reviews and then ended up purchasing directly from the Warman website 13-14 pickups. It was a good size first order. I was up grading a number of my personal guitars and installed a pair of Groove Babies I believe in one guitar and a pair of Dirty Slots in another guitar. Both pairs are PAF type lower output humbuckers. I did a quick tap test plugged into an amp at low volume tapping the pickup pole pieces with a small flat head screw driver to make sure they were working properly. A few days later I did an actual play testing, turned up my 40 watt tube combo amp to a medium volume, and found out the first pair was extremely microphonic. I plugged in the second guitar and the same results. I of course did not install any more Warman pickups into any other of my guitars. I contacted Warman and the email I received back was from Josi Warman stating “that’s highly unusual”. She asked me to take short videos demonstrating the issues. So I did what she asked for and sent her the videos. I told her that the pickups were useless to me and asked for them to be replaced. I asked for a little time to test the rest of the pickups I had sitting on a shelf and eventually I made a custom cable and tested them all and found the rest were not microphonic. So I have four useless paper weights, the time to install them and now the time to remove both sets out of Strat type guitars with pickguard assemblies. I will mention both pairs have metal covers on them and my opinion is Warman is not double potting them and this is the problem. I have emailed Josi a number of times and she does not respond and it has been months. I have the videos she asked for and I have the emails. "Josi Warman does not stand behind what she sells". I understand they are fairly low cost pickups but they are about twice the price of many other import pickups found on Amazon and eBay etc. The one Strat has the two Warman pickups in the neck and bridge position and a single coil size pickup in the middle that cost half of what the Warman’s cost and when you switch to the middle there is zero feedback. Switch to the Warman’s and it squeals like a pig.

Bought destroyer looking for something hotter and more affordable than a Gibson pickup.
This was my second purchase and I've been delighted with the quality both times.
The pricing is unbeatable and the personal and patient service I had from Josi was the cherry on top.

I bought the destroyer set last month, fitted them the next day and they've been fantastic! Couldn't be happier. Great company as well, sent them an email as I thought the pickup i wanted was out of stock and they actually called me because they were having an issue emailing me back, to tell me my order was fulfilled. Thank you warman because how many companies would do that. Once again, great company and great sounding products.

I don’t know how other brands cost so much. I saved £150 on other big brands and these pickups sound as good or better. I strongly recommend. Warman.

I purchased a set of warman telecaster pickups on ebay and they sound great. I also recently purchased a set of the humbucker sized p90s which I again have been very impressed. I have recommended warman to my friend as he was also impressed with them will definitely be purchasing more

Bought a Destroyer single coil on eBay. Very happy with the product. Built very well, and works as described - I put it between two high-end humbuckers (SD Hot Rails in the neck and DiMarzio BC in the bridge, both high-output ceramics) in a Fender Strat and it's an instant upgrade over the stock alnico pickup that the guitar came with. The depth and the tonal variety that the pickup provides complements the music I play perfectly. I paid £14.99 for it, but would have been as happy if it cost me 5x that amount.

I ordered 3 of the Texas Tripple Hots pickups and all
3 were defective. I contacted Warman Guitars and spoke to Josie Warman. I got the run around for almost a month. He claimed that he personally inspected and tested them and all 3 were in perfect
condition and working. He maintained that for 3 weeks. No way, they did not work. So, I shipped them back
to him in the same exact condition I received them.
Josie refunded the amount for the 3 pickups $40.00.
But I am out all the shipping $38.50. Here is where it gets strange. I get a email from him with pictures of the 3 pickups with wires cut and globs of solder on the leads connection. That's not the condition I received them in or I returned them to him. So, someone on his end did that. I will never make another purchase from Warman Guitars.

Outstanding pickups,superb customer service,i fitted nearly 25 pairs and every customer has been more than happy.Im about to fit a set of warblades to one of my own guitars.

On my 3rd purchase from them, cant fault there pick ups or Customer service, had a couple of questions, rapid response and fantastic service, even contacting me back to make sure that i was sorted! Dont know where the guy commented about laser etching on the pick ups? I've had 3 sets now and they've never been laser etched or claim to be, honestly cant fault them for price or qulaity, just look on youtube and you'll see nothing but praise for them and its justified.

Products are sold not as displayed, I bought a pair of pickups from Warman Guitars that on the website showed the pickups to have the logo laser etched into the pickups.

When the pickups arrived they were not as displayed on the website, I contacted Warman Guitars through their Facebook Messenger in regards to this and they simply ignored me.

I gave them a second chance and bought a different product I purchased it and paid for it straight away receiving email notifications to confirm my payment and purchase.

Today Warman Guitars without even getting in contact with me have refunded me for the product I purchased as they have decided to sell it to someone else.

I would avoid this company which is what I will be doing from here on.
