Serious risk of losing money
Whilst the site and staff appear helpful and informative the results of my investments have been awful.
Take very seriously their warning about being prepared to lose all your money!
Whilst I accept EIS investments carry high risk I wish I had never got involved with Wealth Club, it would have saved me a lot of money.
The results of 4 EIS investments are £30k to 0, £10k to 0, £20k to currently £17k and £20k to currently £13k.

Thank you for your message – and we are sorry to hear about the disappointing performance of some of your investments in young companies under EIS.
Unfortunately, whilst there are plenty of examples of successful EIS investments, the risk of failure for young companies is significant and very concrete, particularly when investing in individual companies rather than a fund. We do mean the warnings we make sure to include in all our communications.
That said, the high risks are part of the reasons the government offers valuable tax reliefs to investors: to encourage investment and help mitigate those risks.
As an important note, under EIS it is possible to offset losses against income tax (this is called “EIS loss relief”), which should help reduce the impact of the losses – please contact us if you need any information on this.

Avoid believing their advice
Invested £10k using Deepbridge based on Wealth Club advice. Now worth £3k and highly sceptical about any return at all. Avoid.

As you will know, EIS funds invest in early-stage private companies, which unfortunately can and do fail. This is one of the reasons the government offers valuable tax reliefs to investors: to encourage investment and help mitigate those risks.
As an important note, under EIS it is possible to offset losses against income tax (this is called “EIS loss relief”), which should help reduce the impact of the losses – please contact us if you need any information on this.
To clarify, your investment is managed by Deepbridge Capital, an EIS asset manager. Wealth Club acts purely as a broker: we provide information on EIS investments and facilitate the application process, but we do not manage EIS investments ourselves – nor do we provide personal financial advice.

I invest in VCT's every year, about £7000. Unlike Hargreaves Lansdown, wealth club welcomes investments of this amount.
Hargreaves Lansdown has a minimum investment of £10000, even though many VCT offerings require investment levels below this

Sorry to hear your AIM ISA’s performance has been disappointing.
It is difficult for us to comment without any information on your investment.
That said, we can provide some context, which applies pretty much to all AIM investments in the last few years.
As you know, the whole AIM market has declined significantly after the peak of September 2021. This was due to a combination of factors, including higher interest rates, a sluggish economy and poor investor sentiment. The reduction to inheritance tax breaks for AIM investors announced at last year’s Budget compounded the issue.
This has had a widespread impact on investment portfolios with significant exposure to AIM, such as your AIM ISA, irrespective of manager or investment style.
To clarify – Wealth Club is not an AIM ISA fund manager. We provide information on AIM ISA portfolios managed by established providers to help investors make their own decisions – and we always make it clear AIM is higher risk and more volatile than the main stock market.
