Scam / Arnaque
I was familiar with brand in 2013 and thought they no longer existed. I was about to order two products from the website but decided to dig into the company, as their social media is mostly dead.
wearedefend.com seems no longer operational and you will likely lose your money/never get your products. The website has no contact form, privacy policy and terms and conditions. The social media links are those of Shopify which indicates very little effort in the setup of a facade shopify store.
Once you checkout through the shopify payment solution, you can finally see a "contact" button, which is empty, and terms of service which mention "WEAREDEFEND LLC" as the company behind the website, which is a company registered in California, USA (801 SOUTH OLIVE STREET
#1213 LOS ANGELES, CA 90014).
According to the french National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) The brand "DEFEND PARIS" (brand #4003843 ) is still held by the original founding company (FREEDOM, Société à responsabilité limitée - 108 Avenue Louis Roche, 92230 Gennevilliers, FR - Siren : 523147270), which also no longer seems to operate.
Je connaissais cette marque en 2013 et pensais qu'elle n'existait plus. J'étais sur le point de commander deux produits sur le site web, mais j'ai décidé de me renseigner davantage sur l'entreprise, car son site web semble peu fiable et ses réseaux sociaux sont pratiquement inactifs.
wearedefend.com semble être une arnaque et vous risquez de perdre votre argent ou de ne jamais recevoir vos produits. Le site web ne dispose pas de formulaire de contact, de politique de confidentialité ni de conditions générales. Les liens vers les réseaux sociaux renvoient vers Shopify, ce qui indique que très peu d'efforts ont été consacrés à la mise en place de cette boutique Shopify factice.
Une fois que vous arrivez au paiement via la solution de paiement Shopify, vous pouvez enfin voir un bouton « Contact », qui est vide, et les conditions d'utilisation qui mentionnent « WEAREDEFEND LLC » comme société derrière le site web, une société enregistrée en Californie, aux États-Unis (801 SOUTH OLIVE STREET #1213 LOS ANGELES, CA 90014).
Selon l'Institut national de la propriété industrielle (INPI) La marque « DEFEND PARIS » (marque n° 4003843) est toujours détenue par la société fondatrice d'origine (FREEDOM, Société à responsabilité limitée - 108 Avenue Louis Roche, 92230 Gennevilliers, FR - Siren : 523147270), qui ne semble plus être en activité. Soyez très prudent lorsque vous passez commande sur ce site web.
