White Flower Farm Avis 

I have been ordering from White Flower Farm for years and am very happy with the plants I receive. Their perennials are hardy and seldom fail if planted in proper conditions. They have a good selection, service is prompt, and I never have a problem with billing. This time, the clematis I received were excellent stock and started growing almost immediately after planting.

I was excited to receive my package w/ the Butterfly Bush I ordered. When I opened the box I was so pleased. The packaging was done very well; the bush arrived alive and in great shape.

My experience with White Flower Farm began many years ago and they have been a very good source for healthy plants and arriving on time to plant in my time zones regardless of where we have lived. I always look first to see what plants are offered from White Flower Farm before ordering them elsewhere as I know the plants they offer will be superior to other companies.

As usual, White Flower Farms' service rocks!

Really happy with the plants. Quality was very good

I am amazed at the well- thought out packaging to protect delicate young plants! They were cozy and hydrated, and literature was include, as well as individual plant markers nestled in each.

I have liked the products from White Flower Farms, but they do not communicate well once an order is placed - no emails about expected ship dates. Their shipping rates are exorbitant. I only buy from them when given a gift certificate from my sister. I can get equal products for lower price / less expensive shipping with better communication about the order & shipping

WFF provides a dazzling array of products and guidance on the horticultural needs of each plant. Items are packed carefully and shipped quickly. A pleasure.

The plant was in full bloom! I will never order from White Flower Farm again. Planting it outside in our heat, I doubt if the plant grows.

I've bought from you before and was content, but this time I ordered two
Clematis vines.....total cost with shipping $55.45. The vines are so very
small and had dried leaves on them......I've tenderly planted them, after
you didn't answer my phone calls.
I won't be dealing with your company any longer.

I was somewhat disappointed with the condition of a tomato plant I received. Since we have had over a week of stormy and very cool weather since I took delivery, the plants have not been transplanted for their safety. I have put them out on the patio during days and hope to plant them this week-end. I will communicate if the doubtful plant fails to thrive. The pepper plant looks very hale and hearty. The garlic came separately, and did not travel well-a good deal of the soil was out of the pot and in the bottom of the box. It too will get planted this week-end and I hope it thrives.

I ordered an orchid as a gift at the beginning of April. I called White Flower Farms three weeks later, when the gift had not been delivered. They tracked down the order, explained that their orchid vendor had lost the order, and that the gift would be delivered the next day at no charge. Indeed, the orchid arrived to great acclaim the next day, and the charge has been removed from my credit card. The two people I spoke with were polite and informative. I will continue to do business with WFF because their plants are beautiful and because they take responsibility for and fix their mistakes.

In general the service and quality are excellent. The proof will be in the bloom of the dahlia tubers. Will know that in a couple of months.

I've always respected WFF for the quality of its plants and its service. I called WFF to find out when the plants I'd recently ordered would arrive. All I had received to that point -- a week after ordering the plants -- was an email confirmation of my order, immediately after it had been placed. No suggestion of what the next step would be.

So I called and a helpful person told me that my plants would likely be shipped the next day and that I would receive an email notification with a tracking number. (I wished WFF would have informed me of this, including the approximate shipment date, when I'd ordered. Since then, I've received nothing further from WFF. I'm giving two stars because the ordering experience was informed and fine. But not great since then.

I've used WFF over the years and have loved your products. The deliveries i have received this year have been disappointing. They were extremely young plants. I received an arbor vitae north pole that was less than 1 foot high. For the price, not reasonable. I have yet to get some other plants and a rose, so we'll see how that is. The rose i did receive seemed well developed, but 2 wks later no growth. I will wait the 4 wks as told, but i am not holding my breath. I received from another vendor a jasmine, that was just beautiful and on the edge of bloom. You could feel the care in the growing. Maybe WFF has too much business?
The packing of the specimens was exemplary, definitely sensed the care there and that was appreciated.

I ordered a rose I'd never seen before for my college roommate's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a big hit, making all of us happy.

While I might expect that items in the catalog would not be available when I called in an order, I didn't expect that the website information (which I was using during the order) would be either incorrect or at odds with the information available to the phone agent. To make things just a bit more frustrating, when the order came it included items that I was told were unavailable that were substituted for an item that I really wanted. Yes, the plants were healthy, but quite honestly they were overpriced.

You can't beat their products, but I've ordered things from them on line twice and never know when or whether the item(s) were sent and was never given any tracking information. In both cases, the items were gifts and I never knew whether they were received on time or not. Not good.

I have had northing but wonderful experiences with White Flower Farm, be it getting reliable advice/guidance or ordering from their extensive catalogue for ourselves ( in Cambridge, MA) or to send to a family member in Pennsylvania. I'm very appreciative
