Wickes - Caerphilly Avis

Excellent Excellent customer service from Rhys in Wickes in Caerphilly. Despite me turning up early for my purchases and their systems being down, Rhys told me 'it's not a problem and that he would organise a refund when the systems was back up n running as i'd ordered one too many
Posts. This he did within half an hour
When we had to go back into store for more bots he recognised us and came over and told us he had done.
Best customer I have received in years, other retailers should look at Wickes in Caerphilly for how proper customer service should be done as this is not a one off in this store

Selena is an absolute star! She helped me "close the door" on my new kitchen by helping with a missing door issue I had following a recent order. Can't thank her enough for her help!

12 months today I had the misfortune to have Wickes supply and fit a new kitchen and utility. The kitchen is still not finished, shoddy workmanship not rectified and the floor in the utility and kitchen is lifting due to ill fitting. Wickes customer service is shocking. Michael Philpot of MC Carpentry and Joinery, the installer is clearly not competent and his nephew Jake not qualified to be fitting flooring and skirting boards. Avoid Wickes at all costs.🤬🤬

Jacqui was really helpful when we purchased some flooring. She talked us through opening a trade pro account as my partner owns a windows and doors company. She was friendly, polite and couldn’t do enough to help.

The workers are great and helpful martin is a legend helping us find what we need and giving us great advice the overall customer service is amazing

Store is very clean and has plenty of stock. Selena and Lisa are great helpers and a credit to the company.

I was told that all information regarding the Bathroom / Kitchens will be available in those Departments however after a 25 min drive I arrived at the Store only to find there was no one to supply any Details whatsoever. LuckilySomeone mentioned GW Interiors in Upper Boat. I saw what I wanted there and their also fitting it

Kitchen and installation. Fitted last week. The units aren’t flush and now the fridge won’t sit straight or open properly. I didn’t notice until after the installers had left. Because I signed the job as complete before they left, Wickes are reluctant to help. I was told yesterday that I’d get a call within 4 hours but I didn’t. Now, they’ve set my contact to auto reply and I’m getting no help at all. I’ve asked for a complaint to be logged but they’re ignoring me. Such a stressful experience

I visited the Caerphilly store this week and received fantastic service from the lady who served me. Her name was Selena or Celina not sure on her spelling. She was genuinely friendly and engaged in conversation at the till which led to be signing up the trade account. I had tried and failed to do this online. And she made the whole process trouble free. A lovely lady and a credit to your company

Every time I visit Wickes in Caerphilly, I'm always served by the same lady. Her name is Gertrude and she's an absolute delight to be helped by. She's always very polite and helpful as well as softly spoken. Also, the main reason I use Wix rather than B&Q is because I can be served by a person rather than being forced onto self-service like they're doing in B&Q.

The kitchen designer Angela was simply outstanding and provided some innovative ideas.
My only frustration is Wickes offers appear great initially but once you realise it relates to units only and does not include worktops or appliances (both overpriced) they are not so appealing compared to competitors.
Such a shame because Angela worked so hard with the design.

Liz the customer service support was fantastic. Advised and stayed with us discussing the Quickstep flooring colour, quality and quantity required.
She was not satsfied until we were happy with the purchase. She was not pushy but let us make our own decisions on quality and cost.

I received brilliant service in the Caerphilly store today from both Jacqui & Selena.
I was having terrible trouble with my Wickes card.....they cldnt have been more helpful and patient if they'd tried.
